Anyone on here from Central or North California and fly fish? Started learning last year when stationed in Wisconsin and now I'm out here. Wanted to continue learning. Wondering where to fish at and if any is willing to help show me the ropes as I'm a noob and want to get better.

    Thanks
    Edsel

The Owens river is a must, probably some of the best fly fishing in California (Browns/Trout, ext). Season has been delayed until May 31st, but should be good to go after that.

I have family in Bishop, so I'm looking for an excuse to fish.

Sonora Pass is good for fly fishing, thats where I go, plus there are other good places near by as well.
