I've been doing tons of research on this forum and I'm getting ready to embark on a journey and wanted to get some opinions/thoughts before I pull the trigger and start purchasing parts. I do want a bit of a rake in the back for towing and actually like the look.

Phase 1 - Exterior (already ordered from Roman)
    • TFD Pro grill and hood bulge color matched
    • Replaced front and rear bumper end caps color matched
    • Replace all chrome emblems with black emblems
    Phase 2 - Suspension
    Front - 3" lift:
    • Bilstein 6112 at max setting
    • Coachbuilder shims (1 per side)
    • Toytec differential drop
    • Camburg 1.5 Uniball UCA
    Rear 1.75" lift:
    • Bilstein 5160
    • Coachbuilder shackles +3
    Wheels/Tires:
    • TRD Pro wheels
    • Black lug nuts
    • Nitto Ridge Grappler 295/70R18 (do I need a speedometer calibrator?)
    Phase 3 - Misc
    • BAMuffler 10" SS single
    • TRD Pro cold air intake (any other suggestions?)
I'm hoping to get it all done by June maybe earlier, I will be performing all the work (except powder coating) and will be posting pictures and measurements throughout the process.

    Any comments/suggestions are appreciated!

    Thanks

I'd talk a little with @dirtydeeds about his line of bad ass exhausts before you go TRD. He seems to have great reputation around here.
I'm not sure about the TRD intake. I have read mostly the gains are negligible for what it cots.
I'd imagine powder coated wheels are your best bet as far as aftermarket coating or paint. You can probably find a trd set for sale here for sale too if you keep your eyes open.

Welcome bud. Let's see some pics. Putting 295/70's on stock wheels will prob hit the UCA's. By the time you buy spacers and powdercoat, you could probably sell those and buy proper offset wheels for about the same cost.

I see a lot of guys here running 295/70 on stock wheels, would be good to hear more comments on this.

I can't say for sure, but I think the issue with the 295's comes into play for the platinum and limited guys with 20" wheels. I may be wrong though.

A little of this and a little of that.
I agree with @joonbug about your tire size and hitting your UCA's. Sell your wheels and buy something you really want.
What does she look like now? Show us........

I kind of like the stock look of the wheels, what size of spacers would I need to keep them or if I get new wheels what kind of offset should I get (apologize for my ignorance)...I'll post a pic tonight.

Yeah, you might want to confirm whether they'll fit without spacers first. My guess is they'll be too close to the UCA's. For spacers, it depends how aggressive you want your stance to look. But don't go bigger than 1.5", then you'll have more rubbing issues. I would say 1"-1.25" would be best. If you buy wheels, +18 to +35 is the best offset.

Talked to Keith from dirtydeeds today and ordered the 10" SS single exhaust. Apparently these systems have better low end torque than dual exhaust or Trd duals while having the same increase in hp.

All suspension parts and tires are ordered as well...build starts Feb 17!

MBRP Catback 3 inch dropdown exhaust, S&B CIA, N-Fab 3 step nerfbar, TRD sway Bar.. Firestone Ride rite air bags, Pro Grille, P3 brake controller, OEM towing mirrors
I bought an S&B CIA for $300.00 and love it.. They say that you can do a cheap version by replacing your paper filter for a PRO vortex scoop. 14 bucks and go with a K&N round filter.. But I don't see how u would mount it... being the OEM filter is flat... Also bought a MBRP catback 2 into 1 (3inch) turn down under the truck and I love it.. also $300.00... a little louder than the TRD PRO exhaust. a lot of research into dyno tests show this is breathing easier and flows smoother...

Thank you all for the feedback! I decided to get Camburg UCAs and found a great deal on brand new TRD Pro wheels. Next Saturday it will be a completely different truck!

Do you have any videos of the mbrp turn down exhaust in action. I'm highly considering this one for my 13 CM trd rock warrior

Sounds good I had to search it on YouTube, the link didn't seem to work. I'm thinking of getter k&n's intake that used the factory air box and a new tube and filter.
