tbh. No idea. Took the 14 to the graveyard, picked a dirt road, and spent the day trying not to break anything

Can’t complain! No issues all around except a little sunburn. Truck performed pretty well. I just get nervous because it isn’t stock. Idk it’s weird. Relying on someone else’s work to hold up. Even though I would have no idea what I was doing installing anything lol.
I just feel like mine is less reliable than the stock raptors and stuff. still an awesome day. And now I want more lights more bumpers and a beefier setup.

Not to be argumentative but you'd be wrong about the stock Raptors being more reliable than your Tundra. I understand the lack of confidence accrued when someone else does the installs but a buddy that wheels with a bunch of Raptors tells me they break down all the time. Nonetheless, tools and spares go along way toward instilling confidence. And, with good friends in SoCal and the help of amazing people on this site, you'd be amazed what can get fixed overnight in the desert. :anonymous:

Well it looks like the escape we need may be allowed soon, ready or not. So I’ll definitely take advantage of any opportunity!

Oh jeeeeez. How much is the ante? ;)

think we’re going out next weekend too.

only issue I have is my truck wouldn’t accept gas today. Tried 3 different stations and the pump shut off not even a second into it each time. Had maybe half a tank. She’s at Toyota right now getting that figured out and a 55k service. Browsing vilmont for a rtt....

That's becoming a common issue. Your roll over valve is stuck shut. The proper fix is a new tank. What I did was run the tank nearly empty, drop the tank, remove the filler neck from the tank, pop open the valve. I will guarantee this is your problem no matter what the stealership tells you.

Shit that’s annoying. I have an rci skid plate on there too. They better put that back on there as it was....

So just a coincidence that it happened after running her hard through the desert?

No, I saw the pic with your truck in the air, looks a lot like mine right before I had the problem. Generally this issue is with '16 and maybe '17 with the 38 gal tank. To keep it from happening again I disabled the valve, I don't/can't recommend this "fix" for anyone else

The only other possible problem would be a fouled charcoal canister but that's usually caused by frequently topping off, essentially flooding the canister by over filling the tank

Interesting. Looks a lot like yours in that it was in the air? ;)

maybe I’ll have toyota disable the valve for me. What does disabling it to exactly?
