I have mine set to Km per Litre, so I can easily calculate how expensive it is it to drive the kids somewhere. It gives me something to complain about and give them a hard time, even though I love driving them around in it.

I don't speak french. Not even gonna try. Hable espanol? Sprechen ze duetsch? LOL.

I like liter/100kms due to our distances being in km. Makes fuel needs calcs easy.

Je parle un petit peux et mon nom secondare est Gagnon. Cest tres mal. Francais est plus difficult avec le masculin est femenin. Je suis tres tres horrible avec le langue secondare.

I walked past a Spanish class one time and swore they were actually speaking French. So they're close enough that we can make it work.

Anyway, my French was still good enough about 7 years after my last French class to order les baguettes au jambon et fromage for myself and for my friends who didn't speak a word of French from a street vendor who didn't have any English when we were in Paris.

And the French are more tolerant of my mistakes and atrocious accent than the Quebecois are.

Thanks! I actually feel really rusty; I'm surprised how much I've retained for never having a use for it.

Ok after google translating the next three messages I’m giving up haha. I clearly only speak English. Would like to speak more. Glad the kids are going into French immersion so they can share with me.

But for now, on this thread, I’m done translating haha.

Which truck is that? You hiding a 5.3 GM somewhere and only driving it on the highway?

I'm getting 7km/L right now, driving my 12km to work through the city. No traffic, no stops, Covid mileage.

That's the highest averages I've had since I got the truck.

Cycling season has started for me, so the truck won't get used much for commuting until Sep/Oct.

If I did the math right, that's 14 L/100 km, which is about what I get highway, according to the DIC (which is hard for me to confirm by hand because I do mostly city driving).

I get around 14L/100km with my Tundra. The Wife's Corolla gets 6L/100km. Guess which one gets driven more. LOL

Exactly the same here. And it doesn't matter how many times I explain it, my wife still asks why we're taking the car instead of the truck.

I was getting 13.5L / 100km last summer. Winter it was up to 16L with my snows, truck loaded with a few hundred pounds of tools and a sweet exhaust leak i have yet to fix. I will get to it, but i just bought a new mitre saw. So my extra cash is used for the month. Not to mention the truck has sat outside of a trip in town every 2 weeks.
