No kidding? Its been years since I've bought any.

I remember dumping out two big boxes on a comforter (for easy cleanup) and recruiting mom to help me find just one piece to finish my car I was "assembling."

    Good times.

I did a few searches here on the forum but still didn't want to create a thread unless I asked here first.

Anyone know of any threads about some of the different ways to mount tablets for GPS? I have an extra Ipad and would like to have the bigger screen for Gaia but not exactly sure how I want to go about getting it mounted

I vaguely remember us discussing this before but I just saw ELKA is offering coilovers for our trucks. It's nice to see another option. I don't know anything about them. I wonder if they are worth the price.

Jberry did a good write up on them. What makes me think I may go with them on the tundra eventually is the aluminum shock won’t rust like everything else. The finish on Elkas also appear to be second to none

Mother Earth is healing. I can feel it with my ear on the ground. Spirit of Chief Thundercloud just dropped a tear from the sky thinking about how all the little animals and plants are rejoicing.

Wheelers just announced 15% off all Icon products. Surprised they can go that low since ICON keeps a tight leash on their pricing.

Mother Earth is prospering from all the "fertilizer" being produced by people staying home and eating too much. I've easily put on ten pounds and been dropping an extra turd or two a day.

Butt think of all the harmful green house gases being expelled by the extra wasteful food being consumed. If people would just chew their food more finely to eliminate air entrapment, then our Mother Earth would be better for it!

Hey any of you guys ever use seafoam before? My truck is misfiring and i pulled a spark plug to check out the plugs, and my cylinder was COVERED with black wetish carbon buildup. It looked terrible. My engine uses zero oil so i have no idea why. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for using seafoam.. my plan is to put 2-3 bottles into a quarter tank, and then run that through on the highway. Then after that i will run a can through the throttle body. Thanks!

I’d try to figure out why she is misfiring before doing the SeaFoam.

@Professional Hand Model 90 percent sure i just figured it out. I put on way too much antiseize on the plugs the mechanic said. That was about 4 thousand miles ago, so idk why the problem just happened but it did. So hopefully thats what the issue is!!

I have used Seafoam in various engines, sometimes hard to say for sure if it’s effective, but I don’t feel like there’s any harm, and do feel like there are some improvements, but more of a feeling than something quantifiable.
That said, last time I used it was on my Tundra. I was having an annoying tick/ping at just about 1900rpm, under light load. First, I did new plugs (which were definitely needed anyway), not much change, then I dumped a whole bottle of Seafoam in about 1/4 tank of gas and drove it hard, which actually seemed to increase the amount of ticking noises from the engine, got it down to about 1/8 tank, then topped it up. Ever since then the noise at 1900 has been gone, as far as I can hear, and the new ticking seems to have subsided.
It may not be as effective as the sucking it into the manifold method (which I have done before, that’s fun for all the smoke you’ll make after), but it was quick, easy and apparently effective.
If you’re going to do it both ways (fuel tank and intake) I would just do it all at the same time, drive it hard, and top it up after.

Did you check you coils for cracks? I know that can be a problem, not sure if it will cause a misfire though.

@PenderBen hey thanks for the reply.1st things 1st, my misfire problem has been solved. 2,000 miles ago i did the plugs, and i put anti seize on the plugs, and basically the anti seize was causing the misfire. She runs great now after cleaning them. And Yup i dumped a 3/4 bottle we had sitting in the garage into an almost empty tank, then drove and put like 10 bucks of gas in, added two more cans, and drove it out in the country for a little. And now today I'm going to run it through the intake after work, and I'm genuinely excited to do that lolol.

Yes. Just think of all the Wurrld Peas we could have if all of humanity could be like those really small micro thingys bouncing into each other and making beautiful light!

Reminds me of taking a surfing lesson near that mistic LA beach around the corner from the Bu’. We got off from a photo shoot late after mid-night and decided to go get wet. Got down to the waters edge and decided not to disturb the tidal harmonies. Wonderful mammorys!

Just got my new corner lights in the mail. Man, you sure do get what you pay for. These are rough. I was in a hurry though since I broke my old one. I'm going to hit them with silicone as suggested.

Also, they came with different light sockets than original. No harm in swapping right? I'd rather use my good quality Sylvania bulbs.

Am I the only one who really hopes Dan never sells his first gen and leaves with all his Toyota knowledge? Seriously impressed almost every day with what he knows.

I don’t believe you have to worry about me selling the 05. I’ve taken a liking to it. I have always had issues selling cars I come to enjoy... hence why I own 4 now. Not like they cost me much to keep legal and running

The one on the left. The bayonet style bulb does not suffer from the CK style wiring that causes leds to not have parking lights

easy plug and play way to get leds to work proper (assuming you have the correct relay to prevent hyper flash that is)
