Installed mine today. Simple Plug & Play, I had my doubts but it all worked.

 

get the matching Morimotos XB fog lights. That will complete the front end conversion

 

Post back on the night output as well.

 

New front bumper next with Rigid fogs surface mounted. That is the plan right now.

 

Rigid fogs are legit. I’ve had them for years.

Well I suppose the People have Spoken... If we keep a list like this rolling guys, I'll make a Group Buy happen on these 07-13 housings! If we get around the 15-20 people Mark, how does 15% off your Full order sound?

I know it's not the 20% everyone was hoping for, but it's the best I could manage in these times of life. It's on the table now so if that is something you'd be interested in, let's run it! This will more than likely happen after the 14'+ Tundra XB LED Group Buy is wrapped up.

I think the fact we have organized an unofficial group buy and are getting people to buy products from Headlight Revolution due to a discount, deserves the 20% discount and free shipping. My thought process is, that if it was done a month ago, it can be done again. It's a matter of wanting to do it again. Sorry, if this sounds harsh, but I am a straight to the point individual. I mean no harm.

 

Any pics of night output with these compared to a stock halogen reflector with an Led replacement bulb? I'm wondering how the compare to something such as the Vled micros in a stock housing.

 

I don't have any Photos On-hand of OEM Housings with LED Bulb replacements, but see here in this Video of the Differences between OEM Halogen and the XB! I could probably grab some Comparison shots of the XB vs. OEM + LED Bulbs the next time I am in the Studio for some filming.

LED replacement bulb is not really designed to work with a stock halogen reflector. I don't think it is fair to compare headlights that were designed for a specific light source. Just my opinion.

 

I really want to make it happen for you all on the 20%, but word straight from the top said it was a No-Go. I was originally rooting for another 20%, but needless to say a lot can change in 1 month's time span with recent events. I am afraid 15% is the most I can work up for this group buy this go. The option is out there!

 

15% still brings them down to $765 from $900.

 

I am good with a %15 group buy, but I do have 2 questions @Headlight Revolution that I just thought of. I am tired, so they might be dumb. Here goes anyway.

2008 Sequioa with the headlight washer nozzles. They mount on the UNDERSIDE of the headlight. Will your replacement have mounting points for that as well?

I am unsure whether the tundras had that option so it might be a stupid question.

If yours do, then you can count me in.

Housings come with the new Led bulbs?


For the 2nd gen group here on the thread.
The Sequoia we have DID NOT come woth factory foglights. How would one go about getting some that operate like from factory?

 

No mounts for the washers. You’d lose that function.

Is this really a useful option??? Offroading maybe?

 

I don't know that its a useful option, but I've already spent the money to fix it, and get rid of the electrical tape holding on the extension panel. I kinda don't want to back track on the work/money I've spent.

At this point I'm fixing it correctly to get rid of the electrical tape, and slight rattle from it.

 

Does it just spray water on them? That should not be tied to the headlight function at all.

 

They spray washer fluid on them but it mounts to the bottom of the headlight, not the bumper
