No, it has to be a complete mirror.

Did you install OEM 1794/Platinum mirrors?
Did you only reverse the BSM wires on the drivers side?

Just installed 1794 mirrors on my 15 limited and turn signals and power fold work, but getting a check BSM error which i was getting after I removed the stock mirrors but cannot clear.

Plugging in the Limited mirrors clears the BSM mirrors. What is different on the 1794 mirrors?

After pricing this one out - the only way I’ll ever do the upgrade is with Junk yard parts... 700 bucks for a single mirror is nutz.

I got the pair for $150 because they upgraded to tow mirrors, $60 for the switch and $25 for pins and wire.

Tow mirrors take away blind spot monitoring, so I was looking at getting the platinum mirrors... that’s the 700 bucks because they have TSS components in them.

So unless I find a platinum owner that did the tow mirror upgrade I’m stuck.

BTW you are right - they should make it so you can just put a motorized bottom in them and extend the plug by an extension plug through the bottom of the mirror... that way it would be modular and they can put anything they want on at the factory, and after..

I have a Limited & I kept my BSM by doing the BSM sail panel mod. So easy & it works perfectly. Thread:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/bsm-and-oem-tow-mirror-mod.39092/page-3#post-1723417

Last post in the thread I put a link to the amber leds I used. They’re flush mount, work great, look great.

Edit: can’t speak for the TSS stuff though. I have a 2016 so no TSS. If there’s actual TSS sensors in the mirrors then yeah, you’re prob out of luck. If TSS relies on the BSM component of mirrors, then I assume the BSM mod would work for you.

I read on the tow mirror parts information that changing to tow mirrors would create a BSM or some other alarm on the dash that would go off continuously... I did see the LED mod, maybe I need to research it more.

Yes, without the LED mod, your BSM alert will go off. But, with the LED mod it won’t go off. :)

Yep... but you do lose the auto dimming mirrors ... I was thinking TSS but that’s in the grill so its the auto dimming that goes bye-bye

The harness included a relay to open and close the power mirrors with you locked / unlocked your truck.

You can add a couple of wires, and change out the window control button to get power fold mirrors on your own..

They’re being shipped? I purchased mine at the end of April & still haven’t received them. I emailed her at the end of May & she said they were still preorder.

A couple of members received their kit but they're not working with the key fob - the mirrors doesnt fold/unfold when you lock/unlock the truck with the key fob. One of them thrown in the towel and gave up figuring it out. He just uses the switch to fold/unfold the mirrors.

    Here's the thread:

    Function before sparkle.
As far as I know, only 8 orders were shipped and they were all with the non-illuminated switches.

    Contact Katie though.

Thats what I thought. Power Fold mirrors are only available on 1794 and Platinum models.

Thanks for clarifying. Post #320 said he scored a set from a 2020 Limited. So, most likely they're not power fold.

I’m really not wanting them to fold when locking or unlocking. Just when I hit the button.
