New Tundra guy here, been browsing the forums for a while finally picked up my 2020 TRD Sport on 5/1/20. My first “mod” is LED interior lights, looking for a kit that doesn’t mess with the remote locking sensor that’s right near the cargo light. Any suggestions?

After researching and almost pulling the trigger on much more expensive lights, I went with the Fyre Flys on Amazon, no issues - easy plug and play.

Disconnect the battery before you swap them. Too many people blow fuses swapping them

This, or I just closed the doors and made sure the lights were completely dim before making the swap.

I'll toss in another vote for the fyre flys. 19 and zero issues with them and the remote.

Anyone know the difference between the Fyre Flys and the GTR lighting bulbs?

I just put in the Fyre Flys in my 2020, everything is working as it should. Have a few extra bulbs since Toyota has decided to eliminate a lot of lights.

Has anyone installed footwell lights that can change color? I see vleds has a package but they’re a single color.

Fyre Flys installed, but I had issues with the key fob working while the cargo light was still on. Talked to their customer support and they’re sending out cargo lights that won’t interfere

Interesting, was it not locking while the lights were still on and it worked once lights went off?

Yeah while the cargo light was on the key fob wasn’t working at all, apparently it’s got something to do with the frequency given off by the led bulbs. The sensor for the fob must be up near the cargo lights

The CorsoMotion is the best LED interior kits IMO, I have tried many LEDs but this kit is the best.

    The reason is,

Cheap $10 eBay LEDs use simply like direct power way, means using just resistors to drop down a car/truck voltage 12v to lower for LEDs,
so the voltage on the LEDs is not stable and slowly damaging the LEDs, and this causes the LED color fading problem after some use, and
eventually LEDs might die or get dimmer.

The CorsoMotion LED has current control type chip, you can see the picture from LittleTRD (thanks)
there are 2 on that board, means for driver and passenger's side.

That chip provide stable current power to the LEDs, so the LEDs never get hot and no damage and even Corsomotion LEDs use much less power from the truck.
If you forgot to power off the interior lights, with CorsoMotion LEDs, no problem at all.

I use CorsoMotion LEDs for my truck, and my Accord and this company is just the best.

Search the site before you start the work.

I think it's easy to mess the dome light or break something in there or its hard to get to the light. Don't recall the details.
