just wondering what everyone does to store stuff in their trucks such as straps, blankets, whatever. Under seat storage is not an option as I have two kids in car seats. I'm thinking of buying a 27 gallon tote and just strapping it in the back. TIA

Leer locker if you go the cap route. I was on the fence about it considering the cost, but I’ve used it a lot since getting it. Holds a tremendous amount of gear.

If money were no object I'd pick up the DECKED truck bed system, but as now its 3 68-qt Plano boxes and a ratcheting bar keeper thing to keep them from sliding around. I do have a bed cover (bakflip).

I use a single Swingcase and it fits what I need. I keep thinking I should have gone with the double set (keyed the same), but I have a feeling I would just end up carrying more than I need.

I got a weather guard truck box. Works great and 11 cubic feet of lockable water tight storage.

I put a tonno cover on and keep a plastic tote in the bed with stuff. 2 kid seats really invalidates the under seat storage

You could cut a pressure treated 2x6 or 2x8 and use as a bed divider. Then just use a spare cooler as a tote....something like this...

No, the rail system isn't used for the cross bin

Folding 2x4 with toolbox attached to one end. Holds 5 ratchet straps, several bungees a few other goodies.
Being able to fold the board in half let’s me put in the backseat if the entire bed is required.
