    Hi-

I currently own a Tacoma but always loved the Tundra's and it will definitely be a future purchase, especially if Toyota releases a diesel version.

I bought my 2011 Tacoma Off-Road 4x4 new and built it myself.

4.0L with TRD Super Charger (305HP). The SC gave it that pep that I felt it was missing.

In 2012 I started making LED bed light kits for Tacoma's and every once in a while Tundra's.
Please feel free to PM if your interested a light kit.

MattGecko LED light kits come mostly pre-assemble and are designed for the non-DIY (electrical newbie) to the experienced installer. Everything that you need to install the kit is included (except basic hand tools) and includes easy to follow installation instructions with lots of pictures. I use super bright 5050 waterproof LED light strips, all connections to the LED’s are soldered with shrink tubing over the connections. Light strips come with upgraded "high strength" adhesive tape and heat shrink crimp connectors.

    That's a shame.

Small push button switch with a waterproof rubber cover that is mounted right below the end of the tie down rail.

I'm interested. I've been sourcing the components lately as this a definite future mod for me. Seems like a must for camping. This and rock lights to serve as puddle lights.

Nice truck mattgecko . I was thinking to add SC to my Tacoma also . Any regrets or issues with SC . Is it really worth it to add SC. My truck is 2013 4.0l 4X4 like yours.

Thanks! Nope regrets at all, I've had it about 30k miles now. Took my brother and I about 6 hours to install and was a fun project. A few years ago I took it down to Mexico with 5 adults, 5 bikes and full gear, truck tow/hauls like a champ for not being a Tundra.

It'll save me some work if I just get it from you and I won't be guessing about the quality, or lack thereof, of the leds. I'll let you know when I plan to head your way.

I opt'd for the remote feature when I installed these in the Tundra but had just the switch in the Tacoma. Amazing lighting at night, especially out when camping.
Switch works great, remote even better.

There is quiet a few on here who seemed to have come to Tundra from Tacoma, and a fair amount with both.
My wife swapped to the Rav4, leaving me the sole truck now in the house... the Tacoma was mine also, so she wanted something of her own. :argue:

Trying to convince her to get the 4Runner instead.
