I love scotch (the more dirt/ campfire flavour the better) and IPAs and hate bourbon.

If you bought a crew max you probably didnt need a truck anyway, its pretty much a mini van.
Tinting windshields is a stupid trend that needs to go. People thinking their truck is custom because of a tint? LOL!!

    Interesting combo. LOL.

Islay scotches are heavy on the peat flavor. Have you tried Laphroaig?

Ok, this one is gonna be super unpopular.

Alcohol (meaning booze, not medical) is awful. It serves no good purpose of any kind. The claimed benefits can be had from other sources without the alcohol. It damages your one highly regenerative internal organ so badly that it turns to goo. It ruins and takes lives on a regular basis.

With the crew max you get more benefits. The room of a mini van, the utility of a truck bed and the off road capability and reliability of a Toyota. Sounds like an all around winner.

For those of us that work in the pitch dark all day, windshield tint is amazing. Really helps the drive home. Not really noticeable at night unless you get some crazy dark tint and then I agree. It’s dumb.

It's all opinion, but a CrewMax can alway make up for the whopping 12" of bed space it misses out on by using a bed extender or a trailer. How to you make up for less interior passenger space should the need for it arise?

Here is the officially sanctioned maths: Kids + roadtrips = crewmax. You're welcome.

I would have preferred the 6.5 ft bed of the DC but everyone here said car seats won't work in the back seat.

That is the one thing which made picking the tundra over the domestics a bit harder. Big cab AND the 6.5 ft bed. The whole dead on side of road made giving that up in favour of the tundy's reliability a no-brainer. But if the next gen tundy had both I'd like it a lot. lol.

I've been in the trades almost my entire working life, including 6 years in residential and commercial construction. I've never needed more than a 6ft bed. Anything too big to fit in a 6ft bed should go on a trailer imho. I'm also an outdoorsman and have used boats, ATVs, side by sides etc extensively. Never needed a large bed then either. ATVs go on a trailer, truck bed is for hauling gear. I find the warm, dry storage in a crew cab to be more useful than extra bed space. My '05 Tundra has a 6ft bed. It's been completely full once, when we moved. My next Tundra will be a CrewMax, ideally with a Diamondback cover and a BedSlide.

I love the 8' bed for hauling firewood, throwing the ATV in without needing the tailgate open, throwing plywood or lumber in (and closing the tailgate so I dont have to strap it down) and NOT needing a trailer. I hate trailers...I have a truck so that I dont need a trailer everywhere I go.

Single, no kids nor planning on having any. Plenty of room in the DC for myself and 3 friends, and I can fit a full size inflatable mattress in the bed for those extreme overlanding ventures to the state park 40min away. DC is perfect for me! Oh, and it came with underseat storage from the factory.

I owned 2 BMWs myself. I also was a parts manager at a BMW dealership, member of the BMW CCA and tracked and autocrossed. LOVE my Tundra but would like to own another one some day. Might get my daughter an older one I can work on when she can drive in another year.

Awesome rides! I'd like to do an E30 S54 swap someday, seems like the perfect combo to me.

All this argument about cabs and beds. I’m over here wishing I had a double cab 8’ bed. Because rolling 2 motorcycles in the back and closing the tailgate with room to spare is cool.

Pretty much. Had an F150 SuperCab and the kid wanted to ride in the Highlander.

Now I've got a '20 CrewMax and the kid AND the wife want to ride in it. :)

Hey! Why don't we just let extra bacteria grow in this beer and sell it to unsuspecting hipsters as "sour beer". They'll buy anything to tickle their moustache wax.
