    Hello everyone!

I am currently looking to purchase a used Tundra. I'm wanting to stay within 20k as this will not be a daily driver. I will be using it mostly as a weekend workhorse!

I found this 2010 Tundra for sale on CarGurus. I am seeking advice on the price and if you would even consider it. Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the link in case the pics don't show: https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inven...elper.selectedEntity=c21911#listing=268896710

That seems like a fair price. Tires are going to need replacing soon, so factor that in. Nice looking pickup.

That would be a "no brainer" here in MN if it mechanically checks out.

Agreed with this, and also looks like it is running stock suspension, which is really only good for 80k miles at the most, so front shocks and rear shocks may be shot and need to be replaced.. another point to help with the haggle.. otherwise I also agree, seems fair/ a good deal. Truck is super clean!

    Not many yet, mostly stock.
Looks ok, I’m not a big fan of high mileage on any vehicle, that said I just used the same site to score my 16 DC limited with 16,700 miles. It’s a great price on the Tundra your looking at. Can you test drive it? Look it over good?
I wasn’t able to do a test drive, that’s why I looked for low mileage. I’m in NorCal, bought form Iowa. Good luck to you sir.

Also agreed.. you need to bring some clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty in and literally slide on your back the whole under belly of the truck and do a thorough test drive...

Took my nice jacket off when I got to the dealer and threw on an old flannel and kept talking to the sales guy while I went bumper to bumper under my truck looking for rust and or leaks.. really anything... not sure if they were used to that, but they like making good deal and not us thorough folk!

Thanks everyone for your input! Yes, I will be evaluating the truck myself and going on a test drive. I will make sure to search for any rust and do a typical inspection. However, for the more common Tundra issues I will be searching for camtower leaks. Anything else Tundra specific I should be looking out for?

I agree with MT Rock. Check 4H/L, look for any leaks, frame rust, bed rust, hidden damage. On your test drive get it in the freeway after it’s warm and run it hard through the gears. Test the brakes, and do some tight turns in a parking lot.

Not at all! A 16ft boat is not heavy. I see your stuck on White? You do know that’s the slowest color!

Not sure if the OP picked it up, but the link says that its not there anymore. Perhaps sold yesterday?
