I've saved around $80 on shipping, so it definitely helps. I bet their sales have been through the roof, probably a good reason nobody has heard from @Roman lately.

 

Yup, I ordered a bulge and grill and received an email from @Roman that one of the parts wasn't in stock and ordered with Toyota. That was last week. I hope they'll do some type of priority shipping when it comes in since it wasn't listed as "on backorder" when I ordered it.

 

I got the same response when i ordered the bulge and grill. But a couple days later my order shipped. I am wondering if the back order was the grill and i have to order the new emblem. My order is expected to arrive this wednesday. If i have to order the new emblem, i only have one more day before the free shipping promo stops.

 

I got the same response about the black radio surround.

 

That response is pretty much par for the course for every dealership online shop. They can't possibly stock every single part for every single vehicle locally, so they order parts in that they don't have. They won't list anything as "backordered" because a bunch of parts simply just have to be ordered. As long as the warehouses aren't slammed or lacking parts (reference TRD sale from a year or so ago), those ordered parts should arrive at their facility and be shipped in a handful of days.

I am no insider nor do I actually know how it works. I've just ordered parts from various dealership online shops and this seems to be about how it goes.

 

Same for me, ordered Sunday got that message Monday morning and it shipped on Wednesday, received a week later.

I had the same concern regarding the emblem, I have a 19 limited, ordered the platinum grill and my emblem switched over with no issues, this was last week. The few that had issues that I saw had ordered their new grill from sparks.

 

damn. Just saved 90 bucks on a new grille and hood bulge!

 

I hope this is true. Hate to spend $300 on a new emblem. But the Chrome must go!!

 

Are the LED TRD pro headlights plug and play? I really really really hate my crappy halogen headlights but not into doing a bunch of complicated wiring.

 

You need a harness from ihacker in order to be plug and play. Non dimming option is another $110. Which makes it easy to install.

That's what had me concerned. I read that thread after I ordered and then read about the couple of others that had issues. So I maybe once Roman's dealership sells through their current stock the new batch will be the updated grill/emblem.

 

Same for me. But the second post did say that the 14-17 TRD grille is a month or two on backorder. Which is what I ordered. Hope it isn't that long.

 

Now this has me worried again. Haha! Hopefully my 20 limited emblem will fit right into the Platinum grill I ordered, like you're saying yours did!

 

Yeah, when i got the email stating the part had to be ordered from Toyota. My fears went straight up! Wish Roman can let us know if the grill are from their warehouse and we don't have to worry. Or we should just go ahead and order the new emblem.

I messaged him asking and he never responded, I haven't noticed him replying to anything recently he may be off or just busy.

I ordered the grill, bulge, door handles, mirror caps and black exhaust tip so I am not sure what parts had to be ordered of my order.

 

Did anyone else have trouble finding the place to enter the promo code to get the free shipping? I ordered 2019 pro headlights through the ultimate parts thread links and I could not find a place for the promo code and was charged for shipping. I emailed @Roman through the “contact us” link at the website. I hope to hear back.

I ordered the TRD Pro grill but the back order didn’t take too long. It is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
