I just purchased a 2016 Tundra SR White. Looking to put on new tires and replace the steelies with Black Method 701 18x9 Alloys. Is there a potential issue with rubbing?

The description on Tire Rack said it's and "aggressive fitment" and may need life or fender modifications for proper clearance? Hmm. Is this because of the rim size and backpacking etc? Or is this not accurate and all is well. I'm using stock tires - 255/70 R18

    Thanks!

You’ll be fine. The only thing I’ll point out is the tire width. The 255 wide tire is pretty narrow for a 9 inch wide ride

Did you end up getting these wheels? I am looking the exact same set up and I'm curious how the offset looks. Do you have pics?

I'm curious about the life modifications that you had to make.:)
