    Noob to Tundras.Com.
Part time gear head (I don't do front end work myself), full time life saver.
I look forward to taking in any info/opinions that may help. As well, I'll try and give what I know, if it helps.

Thank you. I plan to debage the entire thing. Then completely Line-X (matched color) the exterior.

There's a local Chevy owner who line-xed his entire truck. Looked sick. I asked him how much it was and he told me $8k. That's quite a chunk of change.

I saw a Raptor a few weeks ago that was entirely line-xed, it looked sick.

Ok so tell me about this working away from home for a couple years thing. Military? Oil/gas?

Oh life saver. Are you doing the road thing where needed for the extra $$? I had a friend doing nursing that moved every 3-6 months to a different hospital and made like double what she would have staying at the same hospital.

Edit: Looked at your profile. Cardiovascular Tech. What does that entail and why on the road ?

My wife and I are travel Cardiovascular Technoligists.
We assist in Pace Maker/Defibrillator implants, STEMI call (where someone is having a heart attack), we get called in emergently to open the blockage. We help open vascular blockages in the legs (or other peripheral areas) too. Essentially, we're the Cardiologist's right hand.
The company we work for gets hired by hospitals that are short staffed. They submit our resumes and if we fit the profile, we get hired on. Usually for 13 weeks "assignments", at a time.
It's the same as Travel nursing. We're just strictly cardiac.
Yea, we make in one month, what we would in about 5-6, back home. Plus, we get to travel across the states on someone else's dime. They pay housing, and food stipend also. But that's all added into your hourly rate. But we're only taxed on work compensation (pay, pager pay, call back, etc.), not living expenses.

If I have a heart attack, I hope I'm at the hospital, or near you.

My wife's grandparents actually live just outside of Denver. We're gonna try & make our way up there.
We follow the $$$. As long as it's in a safe city, that is. Our compsny does well, placing us together at the same hospital. We may not always get to work together, but we've been lucky thus far. If it comes to that, only one of us will take the assignment. That way we're not seperated.
Plus, when taking emergency call, you have to be able to respond to the facility w/in 30 minutes. We only have the truck for now. So, that response time would be difficult at different facilities (i.e if we can stay in one apartment, but have to work at seperates hospitals).
That's the main reason we're doing this. Gonna buy a 5-10 acre piece of land back home, at the end of the year. Then build a house on it about a year +/- later.
