Hey all. I am looking at adding a sway bar to the rear of my 2017 Crewmax. The TRD version seems like my best bet, and a simple add on. I don't do much (if any) off-roading and would like a stiffer response while cornering. Are there any aftermarket versions that are worth looking at or shoudl I stick to the TRD rear sway bar?

I've seen a few members use Hellwig Sway Bars too.

Thanks, Chuck. I think the price point if ordering from @Roman is about the same for the TRD or the Hellwig. If that's the case I will go with the TRD. If someone using the Hellwig could explain the benefit over the TRD I would appreciate it.

I believe the Hellwigs are adjustable and slightly beefier.

Cant speak about the Hellwig but my TRD sway bar really made the entire truck handle and feel better.
It feels like its on rails.

Awesome, that's what I'm looking for. Thank you, Joe. Especially with the added weight to the front when the plow is on the truck. It tends to shift a bit more.

Your welcome, I pull a heavy trailer all day and also a bass boat, the sway bar really helped while towing also.
I bet it makes your plowing better also.

Plowing in the winter and hauling a car trailer in the summer. So that sounds like a win-win to me. Very much appreciated.

Does anyone know if the TRD sway bar works on a 6" lifted truck with Dual exhaust pipes coming out behind rear tires ?? I'm interested in on but web sites say may not work with suspension lifts ????? Does anyone have sway Bar on 6" lifted truck??

An LT tire will be better than a sway bar in the rear. The P-Metric craptastic tires suck.

Here is a photo of my front and rear sway bars after I had them powder coated to match my wheels. IMG_1842.jpg
Here the two end links after they were extended and before I had them powder coated. Ekstrom designs does use a thicker and heavier steel when they are extended for a bigger lift.

Here is the rear sway bar installed with longer end links. If anyone is considering adding a swaybar to a lifted truck. I definitely like having it for cornering. IMG_4524.jpg

Hey Chris, the rear swaybar made a very noticeable difference. It took away a lot of "lean" when cornering. I got the TRD.

Thanks, Warren. I think that's the route I'm going to go. Roman has then priced very well compared to local dealers so I'll be buying through him.

Thank you all for your input. I really appreciate it.

It's really pretty close. (That one you sent shows at $241 when I open the link with free shipping). This one isn't bad for shipping to me, plus it's supporting Roman. Worth a couple bucks for what he does for us.

The TRD will either need extended or you can buy the hellwig for lifted trucks. That is what I did.
