nsv air compressor 2019 Tundra CM

Anyone got a detailed instruction on how to install this compressor?

 

I hope you don’t want that to fill up your tires

I saw this in the NSV truck and it’s pretty cool and clean looking. People kinda knock it because of lower output for the money invested in it. It will air up 33s (even 35s) but it will take a while. This will be a nice supplemental air source though.

 

Yeah that's what I been hearing. 35s in 4 minutes that's okay.

 

35 in 4 min? That's really not any slower than a compressor in a tire shop airing up a 35 from flat anyhow.

 

I looked into this air compressor as well. I think @1UPPER has one and he gave me some information on it. I called the company and the communication was severely lacking so I ended up going with the ARB instead which is common among multiple continents and vehicles. I agree, it does look nice and it fits very clean and compact. But a portable ARB or mounted on your vehicle is a much better option when you look at the duty cycle and actual performance numbers.

 

The NSV compressor is a nice option for a direct fit and a more plug & play setup. It doesn’t put out much air though. If your wanting to use it to air up all four tires after airing them down, I would probably go with the ARB as mentioned above.

 

4 minutes per tire is not ok for me. I don’t want to take almost half hour to air up my tires.

I personally like it for the look but realize and accept its limitations.

I never got the NSV compressor. I just shared the information on it for others to consider.
