I'm changing out my chrome bumper for a painted one. I'm stuck on getting the fog like canisters out. The tabs don't really want to budge. Does anyone have any tips?
Edit: after looking at the picture I just took, I bet I'm supposed to bend the metal tabs, right?

Do you mean force as in pressing down on the black plastic tab?

Did I buy the wrong bumper? The fog light cut outs are different. The chrome bumper has 3 opening for the tabs. The painted one has two cut outs and those tabs in the middle.

Never mind. I found a thread about how I'm supposed to replace a lot of other pieces. Oh well

That picture above is plastic, right? If your in a jam, get a razor blade and nicely cut those tabs off. A lot of times new plastic bumpers come with shipping tabs similar to the ones above, so the bumper doesn't flex during shipping and the painting process.
