Yep, drill some holes and then either

    - pour some diesel in there and light it, or
    - pour some salt in there and let it sit for awhile.

Think I am going to rent a stump grinder at Home Depot. Have a few more to remove as well. Don’t want to get in trouble with a fire. Salt will take too long.

Those work well too, I've rented them before. But fire is much cooler.

Whats the cost to have someone do it? Sometimes the more the better. Might be the same price as renting one.

150 for a day to rent. Can’t imagine someone doing 3 stumps for that price

Make sure you get the tracked hydraulic arm one. Way better to use the joystick than to try and gently lower the wheel down on the littler machine like a see saw.

they make a heck of a mess but it’s pretty simple work. Just takes some time. I paid $130/8hr rental instead of $450 for 3 stumps with no cleanup on their end.

    Need some advice.
Went by Lowes today to see what they had to say but it's crazy stupid busy and even without the virus I wouldn't mess with it.

Garage door seal is showing it's age. Need to replace, rebuild.

    qPqOfwxbiYz9cpAflxsQJb658AJF2YxxYmPztFnA_07c84ff17ea033a979969eb0e6e4bbb28c24ae6e.jpg

    -izYLcNWGag9Xl10f0NjMZqueMgNfTymsRLvkMNg_b0aabb62bcf4eb518b42081ebc177ef4c6d935b8.jpg

Are these parts readily available? I hope this isn't some one off, custom built stuff no one has parts for. I can not find any service tags or labels on the door anywhere.

if youre just looking for the rubber seal part, im fairly certain that lowes sells it. its usually in a roll on the same isle that the openers are on. there will also be other weather stripping on that isle too. i cant tell if youre talking about the entire bottom side of that garage door or not.

Looks like i'm going to need the entire assembly. Notice the rust in the first picture? Not going to be enough to hold the seal in place.

It's held on by the bottom assembly. I can take a picture but you wont see anything.

fair enough. i havent seen anything like that assembly on the shelves. sorry bud. most help i could be would be to see if theres a manufacturer placard on it and try an contact them. good luck. if it looks fairly simple, a welding shop could probably fab something up for you too.

I raked all the dead grass, leaves and snow mould out of my front lawn. Now my compost bin is full so I have to wait 9 days until it gets picked up to do the back. Or fill a whole bunch of 5 gallon pails.

Sounds like you're in the business.
So maybe I can explain a bit better.
    upload_2020-4-25_15-29-44.jpgupload_2020-4-25_15-34-53.jpg
This is a double door, literally, looks like I could disassemble them and have two doors if I had the rail system.
That part in red spans both doors and bolts on from the bottom. It holds in place the channel piece that holds the seal bead (I'm making up terms, at least I haven't used thingambob).
The bottom brace that bridges the two doors sandwitches the channel peice against the bottom edge of the doors. The channel piece is two parts, as if it's made for a single door and the bridging part braces them together. The Seal is two pieces, signal door width.
The parts I'm looking for is that seal and the metal channel it goes into.
    upload_2020-4-25_15-37-0.jpg

That help? I looked again, no service plates to be found.

my last garage door seal and seal attachment looked like this, except with out that extra circle in the middle.
    101AF721-60E5-4A9C-8AAE-DE443B31B910.jpg

Looks like you only have one of the two attachment points. I would suggest pulling off the one you have and getting the seal and the seal attachment. It just bolts into place and the seal slides in from one side. They have both at Lowe’s and Home Depot.

More to the “home on wheels”. Rewire the tongue. New battery positive/negative leads, new breakaway switch, and wrapped it all in cable loom so it won’t get hit by the sun as bad. Battery boxes should be in this week so I can get get those re-mounted. Got the inside upper cabinets done and all the new lights installed, now to paint all the lower cabinets, walls, and install all the finishing touches

No, im not in the business, but im usually fairly good at finding odd parts on the internet for houses. if i can do it myself, i usually try and do it. However, i cant find that part yet. if theres a way to replace it with a universal piece i would just for ease of access to parts. ill keep an eye out though!

This square beside my porch has bothered me since we got the house. It had ivy and a plant that looked like a mutant pipe cleaner. I ripped all that out months ago and couldn't think of what to do.
    20200426_142517.jpg

Wife wanted a small fountain and a block tier. I'm not big on block tiers and didnt want to go to a store to buy something that I don't like. I sacrificed my mini rock crawler course to make a short cobble wall and made a tier that way. She approved, so we planted 2 dozen begonias, a Mexican sage (salvia I guess), and 2 weird plants that we had. I'm going to rip out those cords hanging in the wall and run a black extension through, for now the orange one is fine.
    20200426_173221.jpg

That's a lot better I think, but I do regret not getting a second sage to plant in the back left side, it would fill nicely. Guess if this one survives well I can go get another.
