2018+ LED HEADLIGHTS PLUG N PLAY HARNESS FOR 2014-2021 MODELS [V 2.0]

Installed yesterday.
I did the dimming option.
I have never done electrical work on a car before and it was not as hard I thought.
For me the hardest part was removing the gray wire with my fat fingers

I put in a switch so I can turn on and off the Amber DRL as my mood dictates.

 

I'd first like to say I'm extremely happy with the ordering process for this. I bought the 2014-17 TRD PRO/SR5/LIMITED Non-Dimming LED DRLs (Bright mode all the time) harness and from first PM to @iHacker for availability to finished transaction was about 15 minutes! Shipped fast too.

I'm wanting to install this tomorrow with my new 2019 TRD Pro lights, and have a couple questions:

1. I'm replacing the turn signals with LED (https://www.vleds.com/7443-50-hv-amber.html) right away, since I have the halogen base model I bought the resistors too (https://www.vleds.com/vlr-6-duotap.html). Do I tap the resistor into the new harness right before it goes in the light housing, or into the original truck harness? EDIT: linking this post by @vegas4x4 , looks like he did the same thing, will see if he has any insight (https://www.tundras.com/threads/my-front-blinkers-anger-me.37861/page-13#post-1631482)
2. Looking at the instructions, it shows the harness comes with a 7.5A fuse, which you then place the 10A fuse into and plug the harness in the original 10A location in the box. My harness came with a 15A fuse installed. Is this correct? I have some mini fuses I can swap if necessary, I just want to know that I have the correct ones in the harness.

You can add the resistors directly to the harness (turn signal adapter red and white wire) This is up to you it can be added to the truck original wiring as well.

15A fuse is ok to use in the LED DRL fuse tap

Finally got around to installing my new headlights with the dimming harness. I have to say depinning that grey wire is not as easy as the video looks. Had to get an extra set of hands in order to work that wire out. Great quality harness!

 

Installed the harness for a 2016 1794 Tundra. The Plug n Play harness worked with no issues. I love how iHacker responds to any questions any members have and not only that but also in full detail. Thank you @iHacker

Super easy install. Highly recommended. I went with the bright all the time harness. I’m going to do the amber delete later. Loving the lights. Before and after below

 

Finally pulled the trigger and swapped my halogen headlights (with led bulbs) to the 2019 TRD Pros LEDs. Big thanks to iHacker for the headlight harness. Completely plug n play and a very easy mod to do, I completed my swap in less than 45 minutes ! Headlights were purchased from spark parts with TundraDude34 promo code. I highly recommend people with halogen headlights that are considering this mod to go ahead and do it!! Tested it shortly after installing for a fishing trip to a lake outside city limits and the headlights performed exceptionally well !! Right off the bat you can tell how much brighter the new headlights are compared to the previous ones. Attached are before and after pictures !

 

Good afternoon all! New to the forums, looooong time Tundra owners. Have a 01 and just purchased a 2020 Limited. I hate chrome..so I'm in the process of making all the necessary changes. My limited came with the chrome headlights, and I believe has everything that the TRD Pro's have as well. Forgive me, but are the TRD Pro headlights *in black obviously*, not simply plug and play for my truck? I see information on wiring harnesses, and reworking the wires etc, truly hoping I can just plug and play. lol Thank you ahead of time for your time.

I just bought one this morning and it is shipping tomorrow. Now I just need to pony up for the lights from Roman.

 

Question guys, I’m not sure what harness to buy from Ihacker. Please help. I’m a wiring retard so I was thinking of getting the bright all the time harness. But if I do that, do the dRL strip and the headlights match in brightness? Or is the DRL strip gonna be way brighter? Thx

Cool. His harness is plug and play very simple and it takes about 45 mins to install both headlights. Good luck! Post some pictures after.
