Is the tire tall enough to cover enough wheel well? It is only an inch taller in diameter? Show me pics if you have this set up?

Not sure what mid perch on 5100's gives you but here is mine with 6112 at 1.9" and 275/70r18 Trail Grapplers.

So far I'm liking the TG all though they heavier and a bit taller and wider. According to Nitto's website the TG is 33.62x11.10 @ 65.67#, the RG is 33.19x10.98 @ 58.47#. The TG is pretty quiet for what it is, I rarely hear them over my BA 8" exhaust. Even though they are new wet handling has been great with all the rain we've had since I bought them roughly 4k miles ago. My buddy had a set on a RAM 2500 that he took off at 60k. I noticed a guy at the gas station the other day in a F250 with a set that still had usable tread and asked how many miles he had on them, his response was "Your not going to believe me if I told you but I travel all over especially in Kansas to bird hunt and I pull my SxS a lot I'm right at 80k." I think I read all the reviews on Nitto's website before deciding on these over another set of RG.

Your truck's stance and look is exactly what I am after. Nothing over the top. Do you have any lift on the rear of your truck?

I have 285/65's but it is within about a half inch of your tires. 5100's on the middle setting with a CB shim on each side.

Here’s a side view... no rear lift. A little stiffer than stock, however rides great. 7D5E6A56-1834-4D9B-B52C-7CE3C9C75727.jpg

This is when I had 5100's on the middle setting with 1 cb shim on each side (no lift in the rear). Tires are 295x65x18 - these are 0.1" shorter and 0.8" wider than 275x70x18s. I did end up lifting the back 1" so that the truck did not squat every time I had something in the bed.

Well, did any of you guys have any rubbing in the front end? I put on a spacer lift that took my front up 2" and went up to 275/70-18 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws. I turned in to the gas station today and got a terrible rubbing sound from the front end. When I got home I had the daughter get in the truck and turn the wheel to verify what was causing it. Turns out it was just the corner edge of that front skidplate rubbing the front inside of the tire and only at full lock. I took the grinder and cut a triangular piece off each side and it fixed it. I can't believe that with the lift and only 1 size bigger tire it rubbed. Not a big issue but kinda odd I thought.

Never had rub with that size in Ridge Grappler on my 17 stock suspension same with my 20 at 1.9". That is a common spot for rub, I believe (not sure what year 19 or 20) they got rid of those ears on the skid and now its square.

I had rubbing in the front... removed the front mud guards and had to heat mold and push back the black plastic liner. I also have on 1.25" wheel spacers that may have added the issue.

Mine rubbed on the lower front plastic liner but only when in reverse. I would have trimmed it but I'm looking to change bumpers soon so I just went ahead and removed them.

Still may go with the 5100s or Toytecs down the road. Hate the idea of compressing the spring and getting the really stiff ride with the 5100s. Here's my truck with a simple 2" front spacer lift and rear shackle at the 1 1/2" setting on 275/70-18 Falken Wildpeak ATs. Love the look and ride is as good as stock. Accomplished what I wanted for now.
