    They are 10's in the Stealthbox.
    I'm going to give a ported box a try with the same exact speakers. I could just pull the speakers out of the Stealthbox and put them in a ported enclosure, but it would be a shame to scrap that fiberglass box.

    Ahhh, I misread and saw the last number and thought 8's. I'm interested to hear your opinion of the difference in the ported vs. non. Mine is a custom made ported box because that's what my installer recommended. I was skeptical at first just because of the odd speaker size he chose, but I was impressed.

    For sure. I talked with james at tech12volts and originally asked him about doing 3 10's, but he said it wouldn't work. He said that putting the same speakers in a ported enclosure would make a huge difference. I was also on the fence with adding a mono amp to up the power from 500w rms to 750-800 and he said 500w with a ported box with be plenty.
