Is your truck on jack stands or is it sitting at normal ride height? That's an awfully steep upper arm angle.

It was nn jack stands, which are on the frame in line with the side mirror. It's back on the tires now:

That’s why it’s like that unloaded. This is why the uniball arms are great. That ball joint is your limiting factory in wheel travel right now.

The SPC works too. the uniball just works slightly better for this setup. anything is better than stock joints on a lifted truck

whenever it comes time to replace my uniballs i'll be converting my camburgs to ICON delta joints, The big issue with uniballs is theyre exposed to the elements. they do not last as long before getting sloppy

I like that the TC at least have zerks for the bushings. And it’s easy enough to spray some triflow to stop the uni-squeak

the camburgs have the grease fittings too. personally id buy camburgs before the TC, reason being theyre typically cheaper.

i had total chaos on the tacoma. now icons. and the camburgs on the tundra. theyre all of equal quality, just buy whats cheaper.

The spacer allows further travel or droop correct? Allows the tube of the uniball home to clear more of the spindle/bolt?

I'll have to research my options for longer travel UCA's for when I do my front end rebuild. I'm not going crazy with it, so something like Icon isn't in the cards. Those SPC/Mevotech ones at RockAuto have caught my eye though.

Yeah and shipping a winch would cost a fortune. I'll probably just order a new one and be done with it. Thanks.

its just a smaller design. same travel as the others, but you can run a top dust cover to let them last longer.

amazing what they could do with a slide rule and draft paper.

the sr-72 is looking to be impressive. but it wont have that same human designed history behind it being done with computer aid.

SPC should help the angle. That's quite a bit of lift you have, be sure to keep an eye on your cv joints.

If rust is a problem where you live I would probably pick SPC over a uniball arm.

I'm here. Just been busy with work and the extra amount of life with my wife working from home and me hanging out with the kid and working on the yard. I also had to do a wheel bearing. Not as bad as I'd expected, but not exactly fast for me.

I got some time this week to go to the desert twice. Once for a work video and once for fun and testing my new 6.5 Grendel pistol. Shoots good and still is probably safe for a shot of two without earplugs. The Tundra worked well as usual and I got almost 16mpg on the last tank.
