So I recently just bought these nfab predator pro steps and dont get me wrong I love them, they make getting in and out a breeze and they're all aluminum. But I still cant decided if I want to run them or not. I kinda like the look without the steps better but I really dont want to get rid of the functionality of having them. I also looked at the powered ones that fold down out of my price range. I still can't decide on keeping them or not so you guys let me know your opinions on the looks :D

I'm in the same boat. Been running them for 2 years and took them off today to have them blasted and powder coated, the original coat does not hold up in Wisconsin winters. Now I am looking at it without and I like the look, but I need the functionality for the wife and grandkids, so they will go back on. They are pretty low profile and i have my lower portion Line-X coated so they dissappear.

The lift without the steps looks fantastic, but think long term. You will wear down the edge of your driver's seat foam with all the hopping in and out.

Yeah that was definitely a thought I had especially since I've got leather and it's getting some age

I personally like the look on your truck, it matches very well. You could even try bed liner-ing them too. Could be worse, could be chrome like mine... on an otherwise non chrome truck

I loved the way my truck looked without sliders/steps too, but with them is so much better to get in and out, especially with young kids. I had them liner coated for awesome foot traction, and safety for the kids but I ended up loving never slipping when getting in and out.
So you sacrifice a little, but gain a lot. Truck looks great both ways btw.
