Regular Trd vs. Trd pro wheels? Okay so to be on same page there's the One trd two tone black and machined wheel and the Two trd pro all black wheels. Then latest Three Trd pro 5 spoke black wheels.

Is there a weigh difference between the original Trd pro wheels and the latest 5 spoke Trd pro wheel?

The new TRD wheels are forged BBS wheels and weigh about 27, old TRD pro or just TRD are just over 31lbs, think Toyota states a 3.35lb difference. Not a lot but a difference.

I would love a set of Forged BBS TRD wheels because a reduction in unsprung weight is always a good thing, but the money people want for these wheels makes me balk.

Just wait patiently for these. You can find them at really good prices. I got mine, thanks to this forum for $950 with brand new wheels. Had to drive a little bit but was worth it. The few pounds of unsprung weight makes a huge difference in acceleration when driving. It drives faster than when I had my old rims.

So the original Trd wheels and original trd pro wheels are the same weight?

Trd wheels and 2015 to 2017 Pro wheels yes.

    2019+ Pro wheels are lighter.

I offered a guy $1600 for a set with Michelin A/T tires... he refused.

Got mine with tires from this forum as well for $1500 bucks....best money spent on her so far. They are rare to come to market but they will come up for sale. Just continue to look and be patient...took me about 6 months to find mine for what I think is a fair price.

What are your thoughts on after market black rhino stadiums on 18”s? They weigh in at 29lbs. 4 wheel parts “pay the tax” out the door would be $900?

I know the off set wont be center line, etc.

Is there a way to ID the trd two tone that was powder coated to resemble a true trd pro all black wheel?

    i am hunting on Craigslist.

If they don’t match the TRD pro center caps exactly (or if they’re matte finish) then they’re likely powdercoated, but on the pre-2019 style I wouldn’t really care if they were “real” or not since it’s literally the same wheel

Anybody have details on these wheels, weight and will they fit a 2019 tundra? I know gen 2s had smaller rotors, etc.
