My first aid kit is small, but it has what you need for little things. And best part about it is it’s also the pouch that holds my manuals. It’s from a Scion tC of all things.

well boredom is a bad thing.
now im wondering if relocating the battery to under the bed on the frame rail is a good idea. Why? because im bored.

    No.
Not enough weight to make a substantive difference. You'll have to install jumpstart posts in the engine bay. You weren't going to put an air compressor in the engine bay, so you don't need the room. You have Tacoma projects to focus on.
    :) YMMV

    LOL

the 27f battery is 70 lbs... it may help with that lean issue. where i'd put the battery would make jump starting easier! and the factory location can be turned into room for more shit i dont need!

Went for a bike ride after work, then grabbed my Traxxas Slash and hit some little bike jumps the neighborhood kids made in a field behind my house. Had a fun time there and decided maybe I'll rebuild an old Traxxas Rustler I have. Just keeping busy while I wait for speaker wire to arrive.

    Anybody else have RC cars?

Funny you should ask, I bought some crappy ones for my kids and we've been having a blast. I'm ready to upgrade though and was just looking up better ones. I'd love a Traxxas, but not quite there yet. Do you now of any decent ones in the $100 range?

There are some smaller ones in that price range, I don't know of any 1/10 scale that low. Traxxas makes a more affordable sub brand called Latrax, they're 1/18 scale but pretty good quality at $120+/- and there are upgrade parts available if you want to hop them up.

So I know a few people like @Casper421 have figured out how to use the existing fog light location work for a much better light but I haven't see anyone do that with the other bumper style that I have.

Has anyone mounted an LED in this style housing? To clarify, has anyone ripped out this reflector housing and mounted something better. I had LED's in my fog housings for a little while and they died after 90 days. I'm not doing that again.

The 4Runner looks damn sexy with its heels off and skirt up, thankfully it’s not a frequent peep show! Had the rotors turned(way cheaper than I was quoted) they said the driver had a little warpage, but well above the 16mm minimum, hopefully another round of turning in another 88k:)
I definitely got my life out of the old pads, I only found one wear indicator on the passenger inside, the new pads had 4 so I used them all, ones good; 4 is better right? I had to loosen the passenger ebrake, but still had to use bolts in the rotor to pop it free, I think it was just stuck on there. I’ve never really done brakes before so I was kinda nervous, but it wasn’t to bad. I’ll go and take it for a spin after another tecate 92013AED-B821-4988-9257-AA5CD9A69539.jpg

Anyone know if the 01-07 sequoia power heated mirrors will bolt up to my 06 tundra? I'm really only wanting the outside white cover instead of my chrome but figured I could gain heated mirrors this way too?

I’ve been noticing it for years but got behind one today that was so bad.

Does anyone know why the second gen and up Sequoias have so much negative camber in the rear?

I mean I get they have IRS but every time I see one it seems like it would eat tires like those stance bro civics I see around.

@CodyP maybe try searching antman power folding mirrors in the 5th gen 4runner.org page. He used power mirror switches from another yota and inter grated it all into his factory dash, super clean. Some company then copied it basically, but maybe that can lead you in the right directions

The sequoia switch fits in the double cab center console. You have to run an extension harness to the console from the old switch, then if you wanted you can put the sequoia switch trim there and gain an extra spot for a button. Then you’d have to run the wires for the power fold, I think it’s just 2 wires from
The switch but I honestly don’t remember

I’m still trying to locate an illuminated mirror switch from a Prius just because I like all the little switches illuminated.

I also need to find a factory fog light switch so I can wire up ditch lights and have a snazzy switch

Man that would be nice but then I’d have to find power folding mirrors and I’m not sure it’s worth the price. These mirrors already suck with a trailer and I’m still not crazy about my clip on towing mirrors.
