Did some light work. Received my @Headlight Revolution stuff. Going to tackle the light bar soon. Great time to show daughter a small car project and how to... also did the reverse lights.
Was great to get stuff on their sale.

Doing some quarantine cleaning since weather is kinda crappy outside. Back to work tomorrow again.

 

I haven't installed it yet, weather wasn't quite right for painting it. I'd like to this week if I'm able to get it painted.

 

Helped my neighbor install an OEM Tailgate lock on his 2017 Limited.

They won’t fit the factory drop in. The bad mat is too wide to fit in there with the drop in. I guess you could trim the mat if you felt so inclined to.

 

I tore apart the dash on my '03 Ram to replace/fix parts of the AC system, and I swear I will never pull another dash apart. That said, this is an awesome video and contribution to the community for the many many members who want to tackle it. Not all heroes wear capes.

Thanks man, much appreciated!!...made videos of all their products for my channel, I see so many people asking about them so I decided to make one video of tearing dash apart, and then a single video for each of their products...glad to see it’s helping!!

 

It is the small details that can kill you if you don't have a lot of experience with working on mods. Those damn plastic holders no one mentioned about being reinstalled.

 

I asked SDHQ a couple times if they’d be willing to take their hidden winch mount and instead of a winch mount swap if for a front trailer hitch. Nothing but crickets from them. I think it’d be pretty slick and would easily be covered with a license plate. Thought about buying the hidden winch and welding on my own receiver hitch but that’s a ton of bread to gamble considering my fabricating skills..

 

I (personally) think it’d be a good idea. Could move trailers as @jewsNbrews said or bikes like @devdomski said. Plus, just run some Anderson plugs down there for a winch and use a trailer hitch mount (yes, I know it’s not the same as a permanent mount but for many of us it’d do the trick).
Oh wait, truck’s as dead as a doornail and your wife dropped the keys somewhere on the ski mountain and you’re freezing your ass off? Hey, got these handy Anderson plugs right here and remote start app with unlock feature.

 

I've thought about it. So I could move the winch front to back if needed.

CBI makes one for the Tacoma. Maybe give them a call and see if they can fab one up for the Tundra.
