Looking for input on what size tire for my 2016 Limited Crewmax 4x4.

Doing a 3/1 lift/level. Using stock 18" rims and using 2" wheel spacers for look and pop out.

Know that I want Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs but not sure size I should go.

Thinking 295/70/18. or maybe go down a size to make sure no rubbing.

    Any input appreciated.

295 70 gets my vote. No cmc and minimal plastic trim work. They really fill the wheel wells nicely

I don't get it - I went with 295/70r18 on a 18x9 +18 and had to CMC, and had to cut off a bit of my pinch weld at the rear of the fender too. 3/2 lift as well.

I actually rubbed in the front and rear at wheel lock in reverse.. Alignment was in spec, but adjusting caster either way would only improve rubbing on one side. Opted to just trim the hell out of everything.

You're the first person I've heard of needing to get a cmc for 295 70. It's kind of the reason we go with such an odd ball size over just a straight 35

295’s are a great choice. Have had them for several years with no issues. Price point is good for most brands too.

I'm also really picky and can't stand any rubbing whatsoever. In my case it was totally driveable but rubbed at full wheel lock in reverse.

I understand, I wouldn't settle for any rubbing either. I also decided against a cmc, so like many others I went with a 295 70 to avoid it. Sorry about your luck. Mine's nowhere near close

I have a bit more lift up front than you too. Kind of strange..

It's no biggie, just found it interesting. I chose 295/70r18 for the same reason.

Nitro Trail Grapplers rubbed full lock on the drivers side body mount until the tire wore in a little. Not bad at all. Toyo A/T Extreme have not rubbed anywhere. Not all tires are the same size even though they have the same size stamped on the sidewall.

That's a bummer. Kind of sucks you can't try on tires like a pair of shoes

    Wouldn't that be nice?

It's no biggie though - I would have gone with this setup even knowing I had to trim.

I run the 285/70. Its within half an inch of the 295 and 10 lbs per tire lighter.

I think you'll get away with 295 with a +25 or higher wheel offset.

Nitto Ridge Grappler. The 285/70/18 is 59 lbs.

Those were on my radar as well. I like that they have 2 tread patterns to choose from. You will find though that the ridge grapplers are heavy for their size. For instance, the Cooper at3 in 295 70 is 61 lbs. My tires are 66

I'm running a Mastercraft Courser MXT in 295/70r18 and it's only 62lbs per tire.. One of the many reasons to love Mastercraft tires.
