Hey man saw your using penzoil. I used to use penzoil in between my dealer freebies(not the type of guy to go 10k miles before oil and filter change) and used the pure plus synthetic offered from em in 0w20 however I’m the newer bottles (ones you have pictured) they say from natural gas and are suitable for 5w20 as well. They also removed the pure plus banner on the jug. Talked to most of my Local auto parts Store and they had no clue on when this changed. In my mind why have a 0w20 oil that works as 5w20 as well if there is already 5w20 oil available...kinda defeats the purpose of the oil weights imo. Here’s a picture of the two side by sideBEDB8C2C-3745-47F3-A25D-C9EB0E417E6F.jpg

Yessir I called every autoparts store local to me and they said they had it and every time I showed up it was the new version. They say the SKU is the same but if you were to look at the barcodes on the back the last few digits differ from one another. A guy at autozone told me he was going to call penz and find out what it’s about but that was a few months ago with no news. I’m just going to make the switch to amsoil

There is a difference in sound. I decided to use the optional plug (I live in a very warm weather climate 70% of the year) which from the reviews dampens some of the sound. But I still hear it. As for performance or MPG increases, it’s still too new to say. I love the way it looks and if I get a performance/efficiency bump too, then bonus.

If you know the bulb type you can get them much, much cheaper. One suggestions is Superbrightleds.com.

My girlfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday so I dragged her down to Lowe’s and this is what we came home with. Worked like a charm removing my old exhaust and the frame bolts.

I bought a this beast to do my exhaust install. It was easy work taking

I just bought the same impact at lowes last week when it went on sale for 169. My buddy has one(and has had many others) and sent me the link showing the price and told me to jump on it since he knew I was in the market for one. Haven't had the opportunity to work on it yet, but I know it's coming

I bought 2 last time they were on sale. Keep them in the tundra and tacoma....I probably change one tire a month in the parking lot of the hospital for other people.....comes in handy for sure

After taking Big Blue out into the training area of Fort Irwin yesterday, I decided it was time to start the mods...I already bought and "installed" the center console organizer, but that doesn't really count.

I went on Amazon and ordered a new bull bar, taillights, and train horn. Hopefully will all be in within the week, I am getting bored just sitting around looking at stuff to spend money on.

Please report back on the horn. The Tundra unit needs to be in nothing larger than a Prius.

I need a horn that will make someone’s primordial instinct to move away kick in. Not too keep doing whatever they’re doing, but turn their head to see who’s choking a cat.

I am still undecided on which kit to go with plus I am not technically savvy enough to put it on myself so with the lock down, I have some time.

I ordered an air impact gun for my compressor, should arrive about the same time as the rear sway bar, thought it would be good to have around anyway.

I have a Milwaukee rechargeable impact wrench, but had assumed it would not have enough torque. I’ll keep you posted.

i actually was considering getting that one as well, but reviews proved it was pretty consistent with the kobalt one. So I snagged kobalt's since price was good. most of mine will be used for rotating tires at home and the few other things around the house.
