Beast Mode

Hmmm. I think, and I'm not sure, but are you holding the button down for say 3 seconds? I want to say the first time turns off trac and the second time it turns off vsc. I will check when I get home. Now I'm not sure...

 

Ok. First click of the "slidey car" OFF button tells me AUTO LSD. If I push and hold the "slidey car" OFF button, I get TRAC OFF, but the AUTO LSD light goes away. Now that I'm paying attention to what is going on, I'm not sure what is actually happening with the second hold of the button.

 

I thought the second hold of the button turned off VSC as well but I haven't actually tried it yet.

 

When I follow these instructions. as soon as I press it to hold for 3 seconds, the Auto LSD goes away and nothing else happens...no TRAC OFF or anything. I don't know.

 

May need the dealership to check it out.

You have to hold it for 3 seconds two different times to turn off all the nannies. Here's a vid that explains it.

In my '19 I tried this today with the trac control. Held it for 3 sec and front collision deactivated along with trac control. Hit the button once and all went back to normal.
Pushed the tow/haul button on and set my Idrive to u-2 and it was crazy. Was spinning the tires just about from a dead stop. Had to turn t/h back off before I got whiplash.

 

New tires are soooo expensive.

 

i am close to needing new tires so might be time to go play a iittle

 

Tried this the other day. Wow. I was highly skeptical.

Its like its actually taking off in first gear. Normal driving feels like it takes off in 2nd.

 

This sounds like the biggest joke on the planet right now but you all roped me in so I am going to hit the tow haul button getting on the interstate today and see if my butt dyne feels a difference. It better be worth the gas loss lol

 

I let the wife drive the truck yesterday and even though I didn't go full Beast Mode I reached over and hit the Tow/Haul Ass button without her knowing. She had that truck jumping at take off and would get off the gas then back on, it was hilarious!! When she would take off, already has a heavy foot at red lights and stop signs, you could feel the torque raise the drivers side front up until she let off the gas plus the BA muffler sounded awesome.

 

Figured out what i was doing wrong. You have to be sitting still...I was doing it while driving.

 

hey @Sting Ray - does the controller work with an on/off switch? if so, do the install instructions show the hookup for that?

 

If anyone is interested I make the bypass that auto disables Nannies. Check the vid for more info....
