    Just installed my TRD Dual exhaust.Awesome sound I'll add! Not too loud and just the right tone. :burnrubber:

    Smokes a lot from the oils burning off the inside from manufacturing, which I assume is normal for about a week...

    The thing that gets me is the dreaded droop in the passages side. I've seen a lot of posts about it but can't seem to find out how to fix it... I'm assuming just bend it...:benchpress:But I don't want to screw anything up or bend it the wrong way.

    What is everyone doing?

    Dealer fixed mine, it was level when it was installed but once 'bedded in', passenger side was down around 2 inches....no clue what they did to sort it, sometimes it's best not to ask?

    Dealer; was on the invoice so they took care of it, I guess I paid for it in the long run, but.....warranty, etc?
    Oh and BTW, not nearly as loud now at idle (I have 1500 miles into it), but heavy right foot =oh yeah:bananadance:

    That's the reason I went with the TRD was to stay with factory accessories...

    Wonder if they would fix it since its a factory universal fit.

    Guess I've either been lucky or managed to mount mine just fine as I've haven't seen any droop on mine.


    It's now been 5 months and 5,000 miles without issue.

    Worth a try?
    They only took 35 minutes to get mine level, so worst case is $50 labor, depending on where you live, of course...CA, probably $300...ouch

    When I mounted mine I used a hydraulic jack to hold the angle and tighten the bolts down, then just repeated the process on the other side. I used a level to make sure I was straight ...

    Should be easy enough to fix ... Get under there, looses the bolts and use a jack to hold the angle and retighten them bolts. 20-30 mins is all you'd need.

    Almost same as mine. Mine isn't quite as much droop, but it is defiantly noticeable.

    The OCD is terrible... I've had it for a long time with my vehicles. Pretty much since high school :rofl:

    Hmmmm... no hydraulic jack, just used jackstands and a friends help.

    There was not problem until I started to torque everything down... then it started to go out of alignment.

    Made sure I torqued evenly to try and avoid this from happening because I read and saw some pics of it.

    Believe me, it gets worse the more you look at it....until it's fixed, then it's a looksee everyday...same with the Winjet tail lights...I check them every start, something I never, ever did with the stocks...OCD indeed!!!! pretty sad state of affairs but, hey......gott worry about something, right? :rolleyes:

    Yeah I know the feeling ... every time I turn on my headlights I walk out front to make sure the projectors and panamera shrouds are still lit up.

    I used a 2x4 with a rag on top cut from the ground to the height I wanted the exhaust. I ended up adding some extra cardboard under my 2x4 to lift the pipe up higher than it should be to compensate for the droop after it was tightened. I'm pretty OCD myself and my pipes are perfectly spaced.

    Mine does it as well, I asked the dealer to see if they could fix it, since it drives me bonkers, when the truck was in for service, but it still looks the same, next service I will address it again.
    Dealer installed the exhaust.

    more than I can list here
    Drill the holes one size bigger. One hole at a time. Push up on passenger side while tightening.

    Repeat on driver only push down while tightening.

    Repeat until straight.

    This is next. Tried the loosening and retorquing with a jack stand holding it up level...no change at all.

    I think I've used up my f word quota for today, so tomorrow is another day :rofl:
