Hey Daven. There are two types of tape. There is one that is actually used to attach the inboard side of the BumperShellz to the bumper where there aren't any physical fasteners. That is the 3M PX autograde tape. We include another type of tape that is more like a strip of matte black vinyl. That is purely for aesthetics.

Tired of waiting on the MGM, went with the Black TPU, can't wait to get rid of this chrome. Need the bulge and surround next..

Is there any way to avoid the dimpling around the parking sensor?

To get rid of the dimpling, sand off the springs on the white clip that attaches to the back of the parking sensor. That will get you more "give" in how tight it pulls the sensor to the bumper.

Because this involves permanently altering a part, I'm not officially telling you to do this *wink *wink *wink. Just a suggestion. Lol

I feel like everyone else's TPO matches their OEM bumper better than mine. I have to really keep up on the 303 or armor all or some black retailer to keep them looking close to the same. If I slack off a little the inner bumper fades some. Any suggestions on how you keep the inner piece looking mint?

My truck is a 2014 and I put the tpo covers on in 2019. There's been a few years of sun abuse. Newer trucks should be fine. Mine looks good all cleaned up.

Hey guys! We just put together a supplementary installation video for the Front Tundra BumperShellz to go along side the instructions. It's pretty rough and tumble lol, but we just decided that we need to get something out there finally. Sorry we didn't get this out there earlier! If you are wondering how these go on check out that video. For those of you that have already installed yours, feel free to write any other tips you have in the comments. Thanks! Hope everyone is staying safe out there!

Yes you need to remove the sensors and reinstall them over the caps. Looks like OP just added an install video a few posts down.

Hey guys! Just wanted to give you an update on our status with the California "Stay-At-Home" order.

We are still open to maintain "minimum operations." Orders will keep shipping out during this time period, but they will probably go out a few days late so thank you in advance for all of your patience. Honestly, everyone that has contacted us to get shipping updates has been great, so thanks again!

I am working remotely so I will be much more available to answer questions, and hopefully to organize possibly another Group Buy for OEM colors. Let me know if that's something you guys want to get started again.

Also, thanks for your continued support! Our sales have been pretty steady so far through this period which is definitely a blessing. Probably because you guys want something to do while you're stuck at home lol. Hopefully things will start to go back to normal in a couple weeks. In the meantime, take care of yourself and your family. We'll make it through this together!

@EC1 I'm assuming that the White covers are exact or close match to our Super White? I want in on White rear bumper covers.

Received my color matched bumper cover and finally had time to install it. Sadly, I didn't position it right and the parking sensor hole was misaligned. I went to correct it and put a tear in the cover because i had already peeled the tape. Then I finally had it all perfect and broke the parking sensor. :( oh well.

The cover itself came out beautifully. Paint looked nice. Fitment was perfect. Don't rush the install like me I was too excited lol.

The "Gloss White" is a pretty close match, but it's not exact. That's our stock color. We do have one Super White II full set and a couple rears that just got done this morning. If you're thinking about going the color matched route, I would try and pick those up pretty soon.

We got some color matched sets completely finished!

The sets that I saw were MGM, Super White, Quicksand, and Attitude black. There wasn't a ton from what I saw. We just put them up this morning, and they will probably be gone by this afternoon, so I wanted to let you guys know about them before the "regulars" got to them lol.
