Thanks for posting Joe. Very interesting article about the flow of current. Never thought as much about the ground, but just like your house wiring, the grounding wires play just as an important role. Thanks again.

Right?? I'm not even at the one year mark yet. I have another three months to tack on some more miles. I definitely enjoy driving it though, more often than not I find myself saying "I'll drive." Majority of the miles are back when I had to commute about twenty-five miles one way to work. When I was doing that, I felt like I was adding a two thousand a month pretty easily. Now my commute is only maybe three miles one way, so even with driving everywhere I go outside of work with the truck I still manage not to put on near as many miles as I did when I first bought it.

Regarding the TRD intake, I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I will say I was a little disappointed at first in what you get for the price compared to other intakes. Main reason I went with the TRD is I wanted to stay with the same brand, as I have the TRD exhaust too. OCD you could say?

The TRD intake definitely doesn't add a lot of noise compared to other intakes I've heard, just a subtle whistle at certain speeds. I haven't got on it enough to see if there's an actual performance gain, if any, but once I get the chance I'll report back on that. Overall, I'm happy with it, but at times I wish I went with say.. AFE and got over the sticking to one brand thing. Not enough to change it out right now though, there's still plenty of other stuff I want to buy before I even think about that.

Painted the engine cover, killed a few hours....
It looks 'orange' (thanks iPhone crappy HDR exposure) but it's pretty close to the TRD CIA hose red.
Masking tape and a sharp razor blade took a while but worth it?.
Fuse box cover next and a decal or two?

Did yours not come from the factory with the trailer brake already installed?
    Thanks.

Trailer brakes weren't standard till the 2016+ models, so he may have a 2014 or 2015. Plus I heard the factory trailer brakes are crap and a lot of guys have swapped them out for the P3s

No it didn't. I have a 2015. From reading on here, it sounds like the factory brake controller doesn't work the greatest anyways.

Reshaped the OCD to fit in the Lock'er Down. Used a dremel cutting wheel, 1/8 steel plate overlay as a guide, metal file to finish. Lot's of angles but very pleased, perfect fit.

I was able to get it closed in before we got snow, which was really early for us and it just keeps coming. I have 95% of the wiring done, waiting to get it inspected before insulation will start.

The pictures of your house look awesome. It is a very big project but so worth it in the end.
