I was glad to have a floor shifter when I had to replace a couple transmissions. Made R&R of the linkage much easier. I’ve never worked on a column shifter, but wouldn’t you have to tear apart the column to fix the linkage if it breaks in there? With the floor linkage, I just pulled up the boot and carpet and it was easy-peasy.

Don’t know if the Titan guy was trolling. But I was honest. MGM does nothing for me. Only color I wouldn’t buy. Dunno just seems so generic to me. But that’s why they make other colors

I thought everyone could agree that Bronze Mica was the worst color... :crapstorm:

    Bronze Mica 1794 edition. :puke:

There was one at the local dealership last summer. I just shook my head. 1794 is bad. Bronze Mica is bad. Combining them is atrocious. 80 year old retired cowboys who have been kicked in the head by too many horses and are trying to relive their glory days buy those. :duel:

Agree 100%. Actually you ruined the picture by letting the red car stay there.

Hey don't pull us down into your regular everyday color truck fight, we will just stand over here looking pretty. I have driven stock work trucks/vans every day for the last 30 years, 95% of them were white, 1 black, and one grey/silver. I sure don't want a Tundra that looks like a SR work truck.

I think so, yeah. The one I saw was on the used lot. It was either a '16 or a '17. Salesman said the owner had traded in for a white Platinum. Smart man.

That's only valid for 2nd and 3rd Gen owners. It's a fact that owning a 1st Gen completely negates the color argument due to the simple reason that the 1st Gen is the best Gen. :)

At first, I didn’t dig the color, but it’s really grown on me over the years. Still think you should do a Fall Guy theme.

    Unpopular opinions? Here are 2.
    1. Hood scoops that catch flying insects and all kinds of debris and have no function beyond that! Just eye candy for the kiddies with Matchbox pickup trucks on their desks in the office. I know cause I am driving a TRD Sport. It came with 2 bug catchers on the front; stock!
    2. Decals that tell everyone that you have a TRD Sport. Who cares?

First... I don't like chrome, especially the blinding chrome in the cab.

Second, I've seen some mentioned the AJT stuff and bolt-on look.... The bolts are functional. The parts NEED the bolts to attach to the console. The key fob bolts together. Watch the install videos. However, the climate control knobs use actual bolts, and must be screwed in, but are there for looks, presumably to match the other parts.

Isn't that a popular opinion? It seems that most of the people on this board would agree with you, considering all of the chrome deletes and the interest in TRD Pros.

I've seen plenty of posts here of people that love chrome, and want peoples "take-off" chrome parts. They just gotta have their chrome.

Best colors on a tundra are inferno, voodoo blue, Barcelona red metallic and bronze mica in that order. Gotta have some color in your life people. All other colors are just plain Jane. Otherwise you look like every other truck color out there. Either way we all own awesome trucks. Would love to see an Incredible Hulk color one day too.
