Has anyone heard/seen a valved exhaust similar to what you can find on "modern" sports cars?

I'm looking for a system that could possibly quiet my truck down for long highway trips/etc. but still have the ability to switch to a loud mode. Right now I'm running the TRD Performance exhaust, but would want it to go either way (louder for start/etc. and quieter for long highway trips). As my truck is mostly a highway truck (for hauling the dirt bikes to staging areas), it spends a lot of time where I don't want to hear drone and had that problem on my old vehicle.

@dirtydeeds have you ever thought about making a system like this?

I’ve made it. The vacuum activated valves actually rattle on part throttle.

    the electric cut outs fail.

only good solution to this is to find some old Ferrari mufflers and work em into an exhaust system. If you sent me a set I could make it happen.

Oh, that's not ideal. If I were to source some type of valves/cut outs, would you be able to splice them into a system? I would take the "liability" for them failing of course, and can sign whatever you want to make sure you're satisfied.

Exhaust Dirty Deeds 8”SS, some led lights, Osram headlights, Pro Stop brakes, Pop Lock, AFE dry air filter with charcoal delete.
Or go with a BAM Dirty Deeds 8 or 10 inch exhaust. It does the same thing , no valve needed. My 2 cents.

This is typically my recommendation. No drone. Better low end torque.
