GY UltraTerrain 25x12.50R20". Lightweight, very smooth and very quiet. As quiet and smooth as the stock 18" tires that came from the factory. If you are considering 20" tires but worried about ride quality and noise, I urge you to look at these. The look aggressive in the photos, and even more so in person.

Wheels are Venomrex VR501. These are one of the lightest wheels out there (I know there are a couple that are lighter). 26 pounds. They are Charcoal Grey. They WILL NOT FIT without a wheel spacer. The void in the center of the wheel will not fit over the wheel hub grease cap. I did not know this when I bought them and found out when getting everything put on. Since I already had 1.25" spacers on there that I was taking off with the old wheels, we tried it and they fit fine then. I thought it might be sticking out too much, but it has grown on me and will look good with the Bushmasters I'll get later this year.

I did mean I had to get a BMC. Eastern Off Road in Norfolk VA did the work. It looks fantastic. If you were not familiar with it, you would not be able to tell anything had been done to it by looking at it. They really did a great looking, professional job. They had been the ones to install the lift two months ago and had done a great job with it. They raised the front and back about an inch more, giving it the lift int he picture.

If anyone has further questions, or is trying to decide on a quiet, nice looking and nice riding tire; or considering this wheel (I know wheels are an individual taste-thing); or has questions on the lift/space/BMC issue, I'm happy to help.

And if you want more pictures from different angles, please let me know!

What are your recommendations for lower offset rims?

    I personally think 0 is the perfect offset. That’s what I run. I’ve had +18,+20, and 0.

ok I get ya.. did some reading. I’m still thinking 18x9 also.
Will it still stick out just a bit though without a lift?

Ya just choose the offset you want with the 18x9 wheels. Higher the number less they stick out lower the number the more they stick out

I recently got the Venomrex VR501 wheels and was wondering why it did not fit properly with the front wheel hub cap. Ended up removing the hub caps and they fit perfectly. No spacer needed

Front window tint, black overlay badges, ultraflex bed cover, 18X9 Moto Metal 970 wheels +18 offset, Michelin 275/65R18 tires.
    Balrz,
If you want them to barley stick out go with a +30 or +35 with a 265/70R18.
I have a +18 with a 275/65 and they stick out about 2” and hate all the stuff they sling on the sides of my truck. I just ordered some new wheels and going to sell these.

how have your hub held up since you removed the grease cap? I didn’t realize this about the VR501s and purchased them to find out the same thing.

I think it’s a bit misleading to call these hub centric when they don’t fit the stock set up.
