Bought as used (only153 miles) from a Chevy/Kia dealership for $38,000. Truck is Canadian vehicle which was brought back to Michigan via auction I believe. Really like the truck no issues. I find the Canadian trim packages are entirely different than US. Mine is an SR5 CrewMax with Canadian TRD package that includes moonroof. The seat heater switch is between the left power socket and the USB port with no adjustment (just on/off), no blind spot or rear cross traffic alerts. Anyone else have a newer Tundra that found it’s way back to the states?

I have a Canadian model as well, 2015 SR5 DC. Bought in Aug. 2018 with only 19,700 miles...here in Michigan also!
YOU got a great deal on yours!
I really like mine. Not a thing wrong with it.
So much better than the GMC Sierra I had....what an oil guzzler and no power.
    Enjoy your ride!
(I have changed out the headlight lamps to LED, put in front seat covers, Husky floor mats, blacked out the shifter area chrome, installed a stubby antenna and removed the TRD (Turd) decals from the sides.)

I purchased a Canadian 2015 SR5 DCLB in July 2019. Not sure what differences there are to a US model. I do have a block heater plug on the front end.
I had it at a Toyota dealer to reset my tpms after I installed the new wheels and tires. The service manager checked the door jamb for the VIN and was surprised to see the Canadian sticker. I asked him if he knew of any differences between US and Canafian models. His only comment was that the Canadian trucks are probably built better. Not sure what he meant.

The only difference I'm aware of is I think all the SR5s here come with the tow package/ upgrade package with the 4.30 rear end and the bigger gas tank. Also, there are no TRD packages for the Limited that I know of.

My 2017 is from Canada. I bought it used in 2017 with 5k miles on it, it came from an auction site in Missouri. It's my first Tundra so I have no idea what I'm missing from the US model but I don't care I love my truck.

Yes, my Canadian model has the block heater and seat warmers as well.(First time I have had seat warmers....awwwwwsome on a cold weather morning...) I wonder if those are all stock on the Canadian models.
As far as being 'built better,' I agree that they all come out of San Antonio and are built the same...which is quite nicely! Great trucks.

I'm Canadian and my 2015 SR5 doesn't have heated seats or a block heater (I will be installing the block heater though)

I believe on Canadian models the SR5 TRD Off Road have the seat warmer and sunroof and parking sensors. I could be wrong though. My 15 SR5 TRD OR had it.

Mine is the SR5 plus model (not TRD). I was told by the dealer here in Alberta that the 'plus' is a collection of popular options that they add to the base SR5, including: big fuel tank, 5.7L, heated seats, block heater, aluminum rims and some other things I can't remember.

My SR5 only had heated seats, no sunroof, no bigger tank, no block heater, no parking sensors

I thought the Canadian Tundra's came with:
    • Mandatory snow tires and no A/C because it is always winter here
    • Windows don't roll down because of all the mosquitos
    • Maple syrup holder instead of cup holders
    • The honk is from a Canadian Goose saying "Sorry".
    • The Fabric protector and undercoating is Bacon Grease, so it makes the truck smell like Bacon, inside & out
    • Lacrosse and hockey stick holders in the box
    • Step up bars that lower for our pet Beaver or Polar Bear
    • The tonneau cover turns into a makeshift Igloo so we can go camping on the fly
    • Underseat storage for our hockey skates
    • All controls and manuals are in French
    • New trucks come with a punchcard for 20 free coffees from Tim Hortons and 10 plates of Poutine from Smokes Poutinerie instead of a gas card or free maintenance

Did I miss anything, eh? :canada:

I too have a Canadian truck and have a question. For those who have the xm radio and navigation. I’m wondering wether you were able to activate the XM feature and whether or not the traffic, sports, weather is available on the head unit? It appears I have the head unit that would have all this, but either the apps aren’t listed and/or traffic is not integrated. I’m curious if these trucks were built/shipped without the gps module or xm module....

Mine has the non-navigation unit on it. XM works fine for me though

    Function before sparkle.
My Canadian spec Tundra came the optional electrified rear window. Haven't tried it yet, but those little lines across the back glass will "zap" attacking animals, including wolves, brown bears and medium sized birds of prey. I'm kind of bummed that there isn't a power tailgate though. Would be nice if the stunned critter just fell out of the bed.

I have a base model truck so I have xm and it works as expected. I don’t have any other options though.

You have to buy GM to get that kind of functionality.
