I paid $228 for the step shipped to my house. I ordered from sparks Toyota in SC. They have good pricing on parts and it was cheaper to have it shipped to my house vs my local Toyota dealership. I used a promo code (either TUNDRAS OR TUNDRADUDE34 can’t remember) to get 5% off.

Yeah, this kind of shit is exactly why I didn't buy the truck outside it's stock format. They gouge for the add ons and do sub-par work. When I went in for service I looked at a few of the tacos, 4Runners, and Tundras they had put aftermarket items into.... terrible. Spacers and wheels with a $7k mark up and chopped up wheel wells. You could see and feel the saw marks, and on one you could see where they got off track, backed up, and took a different line.

Our sliders are 100% bolt on and require zero drilling. They are just as functional and strong as any weld on slider if not stronger. I personally wouldn't want the bolts that hold my slider on facing downward so that there is damage to the heads of the bolts. But thats just me.

I must've confused yours with another that recommended drilling for slider functionality, but were bolt on for step use. My bad. The bolts on the bottom of the RCI sliders could probably be left off, honestly. The have the same (or more) attachment points through the frame as most other sliders I've seen. Not terribly hard to replace a bolt if needed.

I personally wouldn't want a flat edge on the front of a slider so it can catch (1st pic), or the gap in front of the rear wheel to be completely unprotected by my sliders (2nd pic). But that's just me. (I can be snarky too)

Looking good! What kind of soap do you use in the cannon? I have a cannon as well, but I am out of soap.

how is the ride and handling with 5100's? is the 1.5" lift in the front level it? Looks like the driveway slope is playing tricks on my eyes.

The first set of LED blinkers I put in had Hyper-flash. Switched them out to the ones I posted and no Hyper-flash. Why would the led DRL have an affect on the LED blinkers?

I guess the RCI doesn't have a flat edge on the front. Based off of my geometry schooling, it's definitely flatter than ours.

Also, yes, he did get some fender damage but look how high it goes. You weren't preventing all of that.

There was a lot of sarcasm and satire in my response. There's no such thing as a perfect slider. They all have pros and cons, and all customers have to view them and buy what is best for their individual wants/needs. I was using over the top tactics to illustrate that I didn't appreciate having my choice in sliders being addressed with condescension because I didn't choose your product as the best fit for my needs.

Feel free to pm me. They're high on my list of wants and needs but I have a feeling price plus shipping is gonna mess that up for me.

I am confused as well. Is this an older model. I know that I can turn my unit on and off with the button when the vehicle is running. Or is this switch just to turn the led light on and off

It is a regular old dumb switch, my charger will stay off till turn it on. I have forgotten twice in the past and had something else sitting there, start truck, charger defaults back on, and later notice flashing red. I just wanted control of when it turns on. The foreign object on the "turned on" charger is probably not good for it, maybe it dont matter. I have LOADS of free time and parts were free.

The ride so far is awesome. The driveway is sloped but, I’m awaiting my rims before my new rubber is mounted to tell the true ride. My stock tires are bald. Thanks to all the layoffs my rims are 1-2 weeks behind. I used Mr. Pink Chemical Guys soap. I’m going to look at less expensive options even though its not badly priced! I use the MATCC cannon and I’m going to try some less expensive options as I don’t see paying $20 a bottle of soap. Even though the foam cannon full got me about 5 washes.
