Well you already copied his truck, cement grey paint, flag decal and got black wheels! Ha! You have been that “guy”

However, both trucks are so fu**n bad ass! You should totally do it. It’s such a good look specially with the big lift you guys have. Keep it going, looking good!

He also copied me on the lift and wheels. Me and my sister inlaw surprised him at Christmas last year. I got my lift wheels and tires, amp steps and crome delete the day after I got my truck

Truck looks great! But take the flares off and let him deal with the upcoming rust and paint scratches.

I've never owned a set of fender flares so were do the scratches come from? We live in Phoenix so rust isn't a problem

This all depends on one important thing... are you sleeping with his sister, or is he sleeping with yours? Cuz if you're sleeping with his sister, you gotta do something different. :p

Seriously, I think black flares would look nice on your truck.

They look awesome, but can rub and or can have padding disintegration causing a hole in the paint finish. Not always, but I have seen it quite a bit.

I'm a fan of colour matched flares like your brother in law has but I know they're not that popular with lots of folks.

Every time I see flares I think of the mud and debris trapped between the metal and the plastic. I think the Tundra lines are great w/o flares.

But, I like ysoserious advice the best! It doesn't matter what anyone thinks except you (and the S/O)

Between the flare and the body once some sand/ dirt gets in between them and the sticky tape that holds the upper part of the flare on some how releases or something happens some how.

Some people drill holes and then they are permanent.
I’ve read others are shocked what they find after removing flares.

I got a set of flares I’m trying to sell because of this.

I'm with you I'm not big on the black ones but fell in love with the color matched one. Really never was much into any fender flares but when I seen his on his truck they looked awesome
