I'm I a copycat

Ok here my dilemma!!!
About a year and a half ago my brother inlaw got a new 2 wheel drive cement gray tundra and he brought it over too show it off to me ( his 3rd tundra ) I seriously fell in mad deep love with the color. So I told him I was going to go out and get one, so about 8 months ago I went out and picked up a new cement 4x4. So we both have been putting alot of time and money in our RIGS. But then that mother FR went and got color matching Bushwacker fender flares and they look amazing. So is it to muc if I copy them as well. I want too so bad but I don't want to be THAT GUY!!! First 2 photos are his truck, the my truck. What do you guys think?

 

Get them, and then something else to 1 up him.

 

Well at the end of the day you can always say that yours is 4 wheel drive and his is only 2 wheel.

 

I'm for the 1 up too! Get them and then a ski boat to pull behind it!

 

Get the Pro Comp fender flares, that's a supper 1 up on him

 

Put black fender flares on.

 

Get something subtle like a front locker.. he can’t top that.

Get the flares, but with color matched Line-X on them

 

skip the flares...it looks better without. Then get something else to 1up him

 

Or, you could skip the flares altogether and get the SSO slimline bumper instead

 

X2, the black will give it a nice contrast to the cement. You got the bumper front and back in black already.

 

I love the Warn flares that I just installed if you want a different option. They are paintable.

 

Get the fender flares with flames.

 

Get a nice tow strap and tell him it's for when he gets his mall crawler stuck.

Your rig already looks better than his IMO...I like the black and gray look. If you want to leap frog him, get new front and rear bumpers.

That's part of my dilemma, I've never really been into them until I seen them on his truck with the cement gray color match. Its pissing me off that I like them so much they really look badass

Too late you already am that guy the moment you got the truck in the same color. So now it doesn’t matter. Do what makes you feel what make you happy. Eventually you will find out no matter what you do there will be someone else in the universe with the same taste. Color match this done, suspension that done who cares, just remember you will always look better in the truck than them lmao!!! Done deal. To each their own

 

Btw both trucks are badass if that helps. The more I’m one this site I’m always getting ideas from other members, but the best is how everyone is always encouraging and helping each other in bettering each other’s vehicle. I want my tundra to be different but that’s hard to come by since there so many tundras in the road

 

Well my truck is show and go, it pulls my rock krawler with no problems at all!!!

If it was me them color match bushwacker fender flares would look super clean on your truck lmao. Color match most def!! Lmao. I’m a fan of color match bushwackers if you have the rims already sticking out
