I've been negotiating with two dealers in my area for a 2020 SR5 with the TRD Sport Plus Package. Both trucks are very similarly equipped. I've got both dealers down to about $45,800 OTD price.

One is Cavalry Blue and the other is Magnetic Gray (same color I had before!)

The blue one has an MSRP of $49078 and the OTD price they are quoting me is $45800.00

The grey one has an MSRP of $48993 and the OTD price they are quoting me is $45738.94

I will probably ask for free tint with either deal.

I don't know if I like the blue or the gray more.

I hate threads like this, and I'm sorry for being the creator of one. I'm really curious what other people have experienced with a 2018+ Tundra and whether or not this is a good deal. I've checked True Car and all that junk but I feel those numbers are just made up.

    Any input is appreciated!

I think I like the blue more now because it's different, but I also feel like I might get tired of it. I definitely like the dealer with the MGM more...

OTD price varies state to state. Price before TTL more relevent.
Prices you have given seem close or as much as new prices.

I bought mine from Performance Toyota/Bountiful Toyota in (you guessed it) Bountiful, Utah. It had a $47,XXX sticker, emailed for the "internet price" and it was $41,XXX after the $2500 rebate. Drove down with my trades and told them I wanted the truck. They had just put a lift and garbage in it so they had to find one very similar at another dealer in SLC and get it up there.

Long story short, told them what I owed on my trades and that if they could give me that truck for the same number we had a deal. Didn't care if they over or undervalued the truck or the trades as long as my OTD price was what I wanted. They tried to go 1200 more than I owed, told them they were shy on an offer I had from another dealership on one of the trades. They got within 200 bucks and I agreed, but wouldn't sign anything until I got to drive the actual truck.. Then when the truck showed up they had to put $115 of Chevron in it, and took another 50 bucks off for a little chip in the windshield that happened on the drive up from the other dealer.

My point is, check their websites and see if they give internet prices. Also, you can deal with the dealer you like and just tell them the truck you want and the price you will pay, they can do a dealer swap to get it for you. Don't argue about fees and such, because none of that matters as long as the OTD price is what you want.

Did you check with Brent Brown Toyota? They’re the lowest price in Utah. I got mine 2017 SR5 with upgrade package and convenience package also they throw in Bed mat, bed sprayed and $25 gift card for test driving. OTD $44,300.

I did, they were honestly pretty close to everyone else. Picked up my 2020 TRD with Sport Package Plus today for what I mentioned above.

We got ours 2020 cement dc limited TRD off road , extras , tri folding bed cover , predator side steps and LineX spray on liner out the door with gap insurance for 55,000 . We live in northern Ca , and bought at Antioch Toyota. Probably over paid a little but we did get 2.9 % financing.

I was $46000 and change out the door - got the gap but no extended warranty. Almost had the dealer install lift, wheels, and tires, but they really want to extract everything the can from you for "accessories" so I'm going to have it done elsewhere.

We got 2.9% financing as well, with the $2750 rebate. We were offered both the 1.9% financing (no rebate), and .9% financing (only on a 48 month term). The 48 month was obviously the lowest overall cost, but the monthly payment left little room to breath. Between the other 2 options we end up saving almost $1500 over the life of the loan by taking the rebate and the higher interest rate. Finance guy didn't go hard on the extended warranty, which I appreciate. It's for some people but not for me.

Happy with my new Toyota. =D

Man if you're happy and you got what you wanted I fully support you. I'm a penny pincher so part of getting what I want includes haggling until the sales guy is ready to jump off a bridge.

It's a beautiful truck. I have the same trim and color in a 2019. Added factory spray in liner, all weather matts, color matched door edge protectors, OEM door sill sill protectors. Paid $42K before TTL.

Sounds like we got about the same deal then. I agree, very happy with this truck and the more I look at it the more I love it.

Working with the great guys @ Fat Bob's Garage right now to get it set up with lift, wheels, and tires.

Not going to go as crazy with this Tundra as I did with the last one. This one is kind of the family wagon that will occasionally touch dirt - we have the 4runner to continue to act as the trail pig.

Sounds like a solid plan. Glad you like your rig. A 4Runner is just naturally better built for the trails anyway. Don't get me wrong, the Tundra can get off road just fine, but a 4Runner is better at it.

That color shifts depending on the light. Some light it looks really really light, almost pastel, and then you'll have an overcast day that makes it look like a deep blue gray. I've had half a dozen people approach me just because of the color on the truck.

Got mine 2/23/20 for 15% off MSRP. California Bay Area. SR5 Double Cab 4x4 with TRD off road and some accessories. MSRP $47k, $40k before TL. Use the $7k saved on Retrax pro, Yakima rack, Chrome delete, seat cover etc. With today’s economy, you might get 18-20% off MSRP if you are no rush.

Haven't seen that hood deflector/protector before. What kind is it? Same goes for the fender flairs.

The one that I use is Aeroskin LightShield(TM) Hood Protector, it light up at night. For the flare,
Is call Lund SX607T Sport Style Fender Flare, I like it because it give the OE style look!

I got mine in Hawaii for 42 (before all taxes and fees). Mine was a brand new 19 that I just picked up. They marked it down from 50 so I was pretty happy.
