Yeah I thought it was a bit of a coincidence as well, but you threw me off when you said it had a slight sweet smell...regarding the lotto...I had sort of forgotten for a minute that we cant really do that right now.

Sooo.. breakthrough here.. and def going to buy me a lotto ticket.. exhaust smoke 99% was brake fluid from booster, vacuuming to intake manifold.

Brake booster was compromised after a month of leaking master cylinder, gave it a couple of shakes and she’s half full of brake fluid o_O.. even dripping some from front. Going to re-install an OEM booster tomorrow before I can breathe big sigh that my 4.7 is as healthy as I thought she was ;)

Hope you have it sorted, but the pic shows the boot is torn on the passenger compartment side of the brake booster. There's no vacuum applied to that side of the booster. That is just a dust boot that should have no involvement in your brake fluid to engine issue. I think...

Congrats on the find. Let us know how it's driving now? Was that the problem?

    Problem solved.. hallelujah! :D:D:D
After finding my old booster nearly half full of liquid, I was already certain. But after removal of booster, installation of used OEM one a buddy gave me, and a full bleeding of the system my Yota’s exhaust is smoke free! Better yet, not the head gasket hehe.. Also the brake system feels excellent now.. job is sort of tedious and requires a deal of patience, but so worth it.. if anyone has questions on MC or booster job, lmk!

I’m assuming a combination of the brake fluid leaking from MC for a month and vacuum pressure :goingcrazy:

Brake fluid is actually really good for rubber parts -- it conditions them. You can use it to help soften old, hard rubber parts.
