Thanks buddy. I should have taken done pics as I went. The areas that had all the road spray were pretty much dry right after hosing them. I think that was due to whatever chemicals that crap it, but once i washed i had some good beading for 3+ months of hydro2. It wasn't very slick but an ech2o wipedown took care of that, and its not very slick anyway. It was good to finally wash it again. I'm gonna look into some of those projects that he tested and check out his other videos.

Something else I noticed was that my tires still had a lot of coverage of optimum tire coating. Still in there for the most parts after 6+ months, not glossy or even satin but just kinda clear on there. I really hope I can get them fully clean soon so I can reapply it with the air brush

Washed, iron removed, clayed, and compounded the wife's 2018 Camry. Got a late start, so I'm waking up early tomorrow to polish and seal it up. Not bad for just compound so far.

Used a Griot's G9 and Meguiars M110 with orange Lake Country 5.5 pads. Hitting it with white pads and M210 tomorrow and then Meguiars Hybrid Ceramic Liquid Wax (never used it, want to see what's up with it).

Bro, she could give two shits what her car looks like lol. But 1) I wanted to practice on hers before messing up on my own lol 2) she had some vicious swirl marks from years of automatic washes that bothered me.

Plus, she's 5 months prego with our second kid. I wont be getting ANY pay off lol.

Appreciate it boss. Spent a lot of time diving into this forum section of posts from the main contributors here and random YouTube videos and reviews of products. Still learning and have a long way to go. My pops has a '92 Honda Accord with some vicious paint damage I'm excited to try some Lake Country Thin Wool pads and Microfiber cutting pads on and some M110. And a buddy with a Tesla who wants the paint corrected...but from what I'm seeing Tesla paint is absolute trash and super hard to correct. Got some more reading to do and some videos to watch for that one.

Washed my truck for the first time since I applied CR quartz to it. Unbelievable it is so easy to clean and after a coat of reload it looks amazing again.

So I was iffy on spending a vast fortune on a towel but the extra large griots is the real deal. I think I could’ve dried a second truck.
Ironx is good stuff and the beadmaker is still the best.

Waxed late last night with my favorite, Mother's Caranuba Wax. It doesn't look as shiny and reflective as it is because there is no sunshine today.

Meant to get the 4runner today too, but these dark, ominous clouds have been hanging out all day. So we've just been in quarantine. =(

Been doing some work lately. May or may not have started a side hustle and bit off a little more than I can chew. Three cars in two days, with the F150 being a full paint correction and interior shampooed and scrubbed (14.5 hour job, 17.5 hour day). Got a neighbor's and two others to do later this week.

All depends on the vehicle and the service they request. Honestly spent more time breaking down prices in the area and building my website than anything else. Most jobs end up to be anywhere from $70-$90/hr
