After doing some ongoing and frustrating searching, I'm finding that there are no 4x4 performance shop of any significance even close to Madison, Wisconsin. I'm not even finding any 4x4 clubs anywhere. It appears most of you are in the distant South and Northwest. Any ideas or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Great... then I'll have a front row seat when the Yellowstone caldera blows watching the hot ash plume roll in from the north ;)

As long as you brought plenty of cheese curds, I'd die content.

Better quick with lava than slow with no sun.
I am a believer in the super volcano at some point in the near future, over 60,000 years overdue.

Btw I do not have leads for you but I hope you find some to meet up with some enthusiasts to hit the trails in your area.

4 wheeling is one of the most popular local pastime around where I live. But 'official' shops are lacking. You just have to find local hidden talents.

When I moved here (La Crosse) I was amazed at the lack of off road areas. Had more in the big city (Columbus OH). The 4wd club near me seems to like meeting and talking, then going on 4+6 hour drives to get to offroad events.

4 to 6 hour drives sound great to us. We love road trips, less than an hour would be nice as well. I think finding some local hidden gem is most likely going to be the answer. I'm not afraid to take on a lot of the work myself, just lack floor jacks, tools and garage to do the bigger work.
When things warm up, the driveway will work just fine.

We got a forum on Wisconsin Tacomas but all Toyota’s are welcome. A bunch of 4runners are usually on the trips and one usually leads the pack

I've not checked for any 4x4 shops in my area, but there's very few Tundra's around anyway. Seems 80% of the trucks are Rams around here....and almost none of those are 2WD....but it is WI after all.
