GM tow mirrors

Anyone know if OEM GM tow mirrors are plug n play?I know places like 1A sell GM "style" that fit, but wondering if they changed the wire harness to fit our trucks or if GM factory wire harness will plug right up and work?

I'm sure the "Real" GM mirrors are not plug & play and the bolts probably don't line up either.

 

I bought a pair of the GM Style Tow Mirrors a few years ago for my 2010. I liked the size of the convex mirror at the bottom better than what Toyota offers. The mirrors lined-up and fit just fine, all connectors matched-up. I had to return them though because of the vibration and failure to adjust as they should.

 

CMB. What brand did you buy? There are so many diff brands out there, I wanna make sure I avoid the bsd ones. I really like the GM style better than Toyota, but dont wanna waste time and money,

Did you replace yours with another brand?

 

I bought them from A1 Auto. I just went back to Toyota's Tow Mirrors but added a Convex Spot to help with the convex "sliver" at the bottom of Toyota's mirrors.
