Well, I haven’t done any burnouts but it definitely spins the wheels now and didn’t before...
I could be jumping gun... maybe a more thorough test is needed
Hey, I could be wrong... it certainly wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong!!!

It doesn't disable traction assist but you'll definitely chirp the tires easier due to the quicker throttle response and your not being used to the foot pressure it takes on the gas for the mode you're in

Definitely. I just picked one up and I couldn't be happier with it. Eco mode works very well for some technical 4x4 driving without jerking the throttle too much. City -+0 is the butter zone on the road for me so far. Been chirping the tires on city +2 because I have lead foot.

Had to go out today to grab some wood pellets and the wife wanted to drive. She hasn't driven the truck since my stealth purchase of the P/C a few weeks ago. :spy: After about a block, she looks at me and says OK, WTF did you do to this thing, and how much did it cost?... She loves it as well, so all is good....Sport+2.

So yesterday on the highway cruising 75 mph with it set on Sport-0 I noticed it was cutting out. Not surging. Cutting out and immediately back on. It will be a week before I get to mess with it, just thought I'd throw it out there. 4 week old Bluetooth unit. 20019 Tundra

I'll mess with it a little before I call them. Un plug it and power it back up, see if it does it again first. Might have just been a fluke.

If you're tuned, and possibly if you're not, pull one of your battery terminals and leave it off for a bit. Reconnect then see what happens.

Two days ago he asks me; "Dad, why does Mom's Avalon take off faster than the Tundra"? I told him why and he proceeded started to mash the pedal down harder. haha

Whenever my wife drives the RAV, she puts it in factory ECO mode

Whenever I drive the RAV, I put it in Sport.

We could do the same thing with the Tundra...win win

Watched a video on YouTube from Sprint Booster explaining how this tech works. Pretty interesting. They also talked about how they developed this technology and Pedal Commander basically ripped it off. It seems like the PC is the favorite and Sprint is pissed because it is their technology that PC is profiting off them.

There have been a few reports of the PC putting the vehicle into Limp Mode as well as creating a surge on the highway.

It happens in every industry, unfortunately.

It sucks for the guys who come up with ideas or technology and don't have the money for patents or copyright.

My sentiments exactly. City +2 was actually too aggressive at initial tip-in and then it kinda fell off. Sport mode starts out a little less aggressive and then gets stronger from there on out. I have been on Sport +2 for the last few days on my '17 with a Dap tune and I think this is where I might stay. If anything I might ease back down to Sport +1.

Possibly. Thinking yes. Either confirm with P.C. or look at the part numbers for each year on there website to see if same or different.

I have definitely enjoyed the Pedal Commander and like that it is small and mountable in a variety of locations on the vehicle. City +2 is perfect for my application here in Virginia Beach. I was skeptical initially but I must say it has been a good upgrade to get the throttle setting where you like it.

    Good product in my opinion.
