So my buddy sold his wicked WS6 Trans Am and went for a brand new special ordered Tacoma TRD long bed. He bought 38" tires and a 12" lift. It was re-greared and has power side steps, CAI and some other goodies. These picks were taken with only 42 miles on the truck at 4Wheel Parts. What do you guys think?

Looks ok for what it is. Truck almost looks to small for the wheels in my opinion. But everyone has different stuff they like I guess. I've never seen anything like it, so that's a plus. It's original with that huge lift.

Is there a truck on top of those wheels somewhere? Not my cup of tea, but if he likes it - that's all that matters.

Does not look proportionate at all. The power on those little v6s suck without 38s, must literally be a mall crawler now. You can tell he has too much money and has no idea how to spend it. Lol. Definitely a good problem to have.

I don't even think 4.88's would be able to let that thing go into 6th.
Not my thing but if he likes it then huzzah for him.

It's ready for Black Friday at the mall. I think it looks pretty cool but maybe not so functional. If that's what someone wants,, go for it. I wish I could spend that kind of money on my ride. But, I'm too old and too poor...

I think you're gonna need a lot more lift if you wanna be a mall crawler.

    Shane, got questions
    1) what this all cost?
    2) is he gonna off-road it?
    3) why didn't he do this to a tundra?
    4) how's he get in? Adding steps?

Not gonna off road it, has electronic hideaway steps but he's like 6-4 and no wife or kids in condo lifestyle so he doesn't need a tundra. Will have to ask him the cost.
