Sorry Colin, didn't see your question. I've had good luck with Cooper tires. I've got 13.5" wide (BFG) tires right now and I'd love to go to 12.5. because I think narrower would bite a little better. Anything with more of a "street" tread is gonna be better on 17. It's exciting for me to drive 17 when it's raining...... not necessarily in a good way. The 285s might look like pizza cutters but I'm guessing they'd be better for your commute.

Thanks Warren! Just needed a sanity check, many of my ideas sound good in my head, and the wife certainly doesn’t know tire sizes to throw me in check like she usually does haha.

Slipping around 17 could be more fun if our trucks didn’t already take up the whole lane, definitely could do without that each time I drive in the rain.

Probably going to pull the trigger on these... looked at a bunch of tundras rocking this size and they seem to look great, not too narrow.

Are you still looking for stock exhaust or did you grab Warrens TRD? I have my stock exhaust that I took off with less than 200 miles. It also came with a black tip.

Speaking of free stuff I have magnaflow exhaust that bolts on that is louder than stock but wasn't loud enough for me used for mabe 500 miles and TRD sport front coilovers with about 8k on them with bds lift attached to them but can easily be taken off for stock height, and stock shackles with 8k ish. All free for local pickup in cottonwood just south of Redding

I look around a while ago and this was the only place I could find. Milo may also rebuild/refill but he if further away. (Cliff @ Diablo Offroad does not do this anymore - that would have been the most convenient.)

yea, cliff is an interesting one. Not sure i'd go back to him after the fiasco i had with him (he did original install, installed control arms upside down, binded the shackles cause he tightened them in the air, etc). Which sucks cause i've heard great things about him.

ANd yes, let me know about hte exhaust. It's just sitting on the side of the house. We are planning to move this summer so i've got parts to get rid of :D Exhaust is yours at no charge if you want it. NO tip, just the middle piping, muffler.

Stripped the tool box out of the bed for the new volunteer gig during shutdown. Second day hauling donated perishables from grocery store to food distribution place. Helping out seems right.

Have a set of TRD wheels off a 2016 CrewMax that I'm selling for $200 or best offer. They have normal wear and tear. I'm near Paso Robles but willing to driving part way to meet. Need to sale ASAP as I don't have room to store them. Tires are not included, just the wheels are for sale.

    Thanks

    Hey All,

I am trying to sell some used tires, which many of us may know are a real bitch to try and sell for a decent price. Anywho, I have an interested tundras.com member that is down in Orange County. What’s the Tundras.com shipping lanes looking like? Anyone headed that way in the nearish future?

I am sure I can work some beer or meat from my local butcher into the deal as a thank you.

    thanks!
