You people are pigs! I can't believe you would click on a thread title like that.

But now that you're here, maybe you can help me out. I'm installing a 4 channel amp under the front passenger seat and a mono amp under the rear passenger seat. Where should I ground them? I don't want to drill holes if I can possibly avoid it. Is there any reason why I can't use a seat or seat belt mounting point so long as I sand to bare metal?

This is my first real stereo installation and I'm trying to do it right/nice. The advice is appreciated.

Who's going to be the first to say something about putting some hair on it? I ought to be ashamed, but I'm not.

If you are putting it under the passenger seat there should be some wiring that’s already grounded so you could just loosen on of those screws/bolts and tap into that. Or just use something to remove paint so your are on bare metal and make your own spot.

This issue of yours sounds like a personal problem. Just continue to probe and maybe you'll get there. That's as far as I'll go with this.o_O

Well, I got it all sorted out. One amp I grounded to an existing ground. The other amp I grounded to a seatbelt bolt. I haven't changes the door speakers yet so my stereo sounds like 400 watts of dirty diapers. I'll get to the speakers soon.
