    Finally got to try out my tow hooks. Had to drag a blown down tree out of Dad's driveway .Couldn't even tell I was dragging it. Love this damn truck.:headbang:

    Yeah its a 30ft snatch strap with looped ends and drings i stole from my wifes jeep. Used it many times with the jeep. Worth every penny.

    Next time, place a blanket over the strap when pulling, or have your hood up.. The kinetic energy and a d-ring can really ruin your day.

    This is just bad, and could have killed the passengers in the rear. Hell, there wasn't even a D-Ring on it.


    This one, so much fail. To recover this vehicle, it would have been smart to have no less then 2 straps hooked up. Look at the force needed to get the vehicle back up top.


    Last but most important, never use a chain. Chains are tough, but are not designed for shock load. This will most likely get someone hurt badly.

    Very good advice that I usually follow. We did have a picnic blanket on it but it blew away right when i got in the truck. Winds were crazy here. Decided to chance it and get out of there. Good lookin out

    Like the jacket tip. Have to get a goodwill jacket to throw in each vehicle
